The next day was an exciting one for both Nick and Harry even if the former was feeling terribly ill from overexerting his spirit during his previous days forging. Until he recovered Nick was going to suffer from what seemed like the worse case of flu ever. It would be far worse if he hadn't only minorly overdid it with an attempt at word infusion. He succeeded but only at the cost of a week of terrible flu symptoms like chills , fever , vomiting , weakness of body and a headache he would be willing to fight god to make stop.-
Nick could only helplessly sit in bed under the stern glare of miss smith as Harry and himself received a visit from one Rubeus Hagrid. The looks the half giant got from the caretaker was hilarious and Nick would have laughed had he not felt like death. Nick was calm as he received his Hogwarts letter while Harry was in disbelief. "Ard to believe I know but yer a wizard Harry." Hagrid said with his biggest smile. *cough* "Gee thanks." Nick said dryly as Hagrid seemed to forget he also got a letter that was read as such.-

We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

Hagrid blushed a bit when he heard Nick speak weakly from the bed as he totally forgot about him in his excitement at seeing Harry again. "Sorry about that lad , got a bit carried away seeing Harry after so long. You are also a wizard of course.." he said calmly. Nick chuckled "It's fine *cough* honestly I'd give you some privacy but *cough* I'm pretty sure I'll die if I move from this spot." he said pausing a few times to cough.-
"Aye , seems like quite the bug you got there lad , I'd give ye some pepper up ifin I had any on me." Hagrid said apologetically. "I'll be right as rain *cough* about Harry's birthday so it's fine. You'll be coming for *cough* that I assume?" Nick asked between coughs. Hagrid nodded "I'll be takin you boys to diagon alley to fill that shoppin list and take care of some business." he said honestly. "Nick why are the names on this shopping list the same as the books we've been reading?" Harry asked suspiciously as he finally read the shopping list.-
Hagrid looked confused "Whatcha mean Harry?" the half giant asked in confusion only for his jaw to drop when Harry pulled out the book by Newt Scamander. "This is serious business lad ,Where'd ya get these books?" Hagrid asked sternly. "I found *cough* them by chance *cough* brought them here." Nick said without technically lying. He did find them in the system shop by chance originally but he wasn't going to mention that. Harry still looked suspicious but Hagrid chuckled "Guessin some un thought to buy their young un supplies early but forgot em where ya got em , happens every now an again." The half giant said jovially.-
"All's well that ends well , good for you lad." Hagrid said patting Nick on the shoulder making his already horribly sore body hurt even worse. Hagrid chatted with Harry for another hour before leaving while promising to be back on the latter's birthday. Once they were alone Harry confronted Nick about the books. "Hagrid doesn't know you that well , but I do and I know you didn't tell the full truth so spill it." the boy said seriously. 'Well I suppose I should have expected this to happen , guess it's time to come a bit clean' Nick thought.
