Harry Potter: Westeros’s Plant Life Chapter 32

August was coming to an end.

During this period, besides studying potions with Adrian, Harry had also added another class—Charms.

And at someone's strong insistence, his time studying potions had been reduced a bit, while time for Charms had been increased.

After a month, with the help of Adrian and Lupin, Harry had nearly completed preview studies of all the charms he would need to learn in his first year.

Although Harry's talent in potions was utterly ordinary, when it came to charms, his learning pace was not slow at all.

In fact, he was quite good at it.

Adrian felt that as long as Harry studied charms seriously, becoming a Charms Master in the future wouldn't be a problem.

However, this was on the condition that he studied seriously.

Based on Adrian's understanding of Harry, the phrase "studying seriously" and Harry couldn't be said to have absolutely nothing in common, but they were pretty close to it.

Today was Harry's last day at Adrian's shop; tomorrow he would be going to Hogwarts School.

While excited, Harry also felt a bit reluctant to leave, as Hogwarts was a boarding school, which meant he wouldn't have the opportunity to come to Adrian's place to learn during the term.

He had already prepared all his luggage.

The only problem was that he knew his aunt and uncle would absolutely not take the initiative to send him to King's Cross Station.

He also didn't want to ask his aunt and uncle for help; just thinking about their mean expressions made Harry feel uncomfortable all over.

However, he wasn't worried. He knew Adrian would definitely help him.

After finishing his daily charm practice.

"Sir," Harry nervously asked Adrian, "can you take me to King's Cross Station tomorrow? My aunt and uncle definitely won't take me."

Adrian had anticipated that Harry would say this.

He waved his hand casually, "Of course, no problem. In fact, I was planning to do just that."

As he spoke, he took out a card from his pocket. Harry leaned forward for a closer look and saw it was a driver's license.

The photo on the license was indeed Adrian. Adrian fondly recalled the first time his parents had taken him to school.

Sitting in the back seat of the car, anxiously anticipating arrival at the station—this was an essential experience that all first-year students had to savor.

"I've even prepared a Muggle car," Adrian said with a smile. "Relax, Harry, I'll pick you up around nine o'clock tomorrow."

After receiving Adrian's reply, Harry nodded, his heart finallt at ease, which made his steps home much lighter.

At this moment, Lupin walked out from the door of the plantation.

"Has Harry already left?" he asked.

Adrian nodded, then suddenly remembered something and said, "Remus, tomorrow I'll be taking Harry to King's Cross Station."

Lupin glanced at the calendar on the table and realized that today was already the last day of August.

"Also," Adrian added, "you're coming with us tomorrow."

Lupin was a bit surprised: "I'm going too?"

"Of course," Adrian spread his hands, "otherwise, who will drive the car back?"

He and Harry would be boarding the Hogwarts Express together, so naturally, someone needed to take the car back.

"Uh..." Lupin looked at Adrian with some confusion, "What about you? Adrian, aren't you coming back with me?"

It was only then that Adrian realized he apparently hadn't told Lupin that he was now a Hogwarts professor.

He smiled slightly, looking at Lupin as he explained, "Actually, starting tomorrow, I'll be teaching Care of Magical Creatures at Hogwarts."

"I see... Wait, what?!"

Lupin shot up from the sofa, "When did this happen? Why am I only finding out now? What about your plantation?"

The surprised Lupin fired off three questions in one breath.

"It happened this summer. Professor Kettleburn retired, so he suggested I take over his classes," Adrian shrugged as if talking about something trivial. "As for the plantation, don't worry, Remus, you won't lose your job. The plantation needs someone to manage it, and I have no intention of closing it down."

Lupin sat back on the sofa, looking at Adrian with a complex expression, "This is quite surprising, Adrian. Being a Hogwarts professor isn't easy."

Adrian shrugged, his tone light, "Thanks to Professor Kettleburn for giving me this opportunity. Besides, teaching is a very pleasant thing for me."

"Well, congratulations then," Lupin said.

Adrian being able to teach at Hogwarts wasn't a bad thing for him. Based on his months working here, Adrian was indeed a competent teacher.

As Harry's teacher, Adrian would certainly help him. While at school, Harry would also have someone looking after him.

Adrian nodded, taking out the car keys from his pocket and tossing them to Lupin.

Under Lupin's puzzled gaze, Adrian pointed to the door and said, "I think you'd better practice how to use Muggle transportation. It would be terrible if you crashed into someone."

Lupin took the keys and walked towards the door. To be honest, he was also very interested in the Muggle transportation device called a "car."

Early the next morning, Adrian and Lupin drove the car and parked in front of Number 4 Privet Drive.

"Is this where Harry lives?" Lupin poked his head out of the car window, observing carefully.

"These people aren't easy to deal with," Adrian said as he got out of the car and walked towards the house. "I'll be right back."

After pressing the doorbell, footsteps quickly came from inside.

The door was opened by Vernon Dursley, Harry's uncle.

And Harry, carrying a bunch of packages, was standing in the entryway.

Vernon hadn't met Adrian before; the last time Adrian had disguised himself as a community worker, he'd met Harry's aunt.

"Good morning, sir." Adrian adjusted his hat politely and said, "I'm a professor from Hogwarts. I'm here to pick up Harry. I believe Harry must have mentioned it to you..."

Vernon Dursley's already impatient face grew even darker upon hearing the word "Hogwarts." His lips twitched, clearly showing extreme disgust for the topic.

"Oh, it's you lot again—" he muttered, looking at Adrian with an unfriendly expression, but ultimately restrained his anger.

The pig tail that big fellow had given his precious son last time still existed to this day.

Vernon Dursley glared fiercely at Adrian, his face flushed red with anger as he said, "Hurry up and take this stinking fellow away to your freak school! I don't want to see you people—you... abnormal people anymore!"

After saying this, he turned around abruptly and walked towards the living room, then turned his head halfway and shouted: "Get out quickly!"

Harry was already accustomed to this and had expected it.

Adrian just smiled at Harry; he didn't mind Vernon Dursley's rude behavior.

Or rather, he simply ignored it.

Afterwards, Adrian picked up Harry's luggage and said casually, "Well, Harry, let's get going."
