Gu Jiahui continued, "So you’re positioning her as eye candy in movies?"
"Not everyone qualifies to be eye candy, only beauties can," Ke Fei said. "This is just the initial stage. Once you land the lead female role in a high-grossing film, future opportunities will multiply."
After hearing this, Sheng Tang raised her glass to Ke Fei.

Gu Shiting walked into the restaurant with a woman in a pale yellow dress. They sat at the best spot by the window, where they could enjoy the city’s night view while dining.
His face showed no expression, but he appeared relaxed.
Sheng Tang glanced at him and quickly looked away.
Gu Jiahui also noticed.
Ke Fei had gone to the restroom midway, and Gu Jiahui nudged Sheng Tang: "What a coincidence, we ran into him again."
Sheng Tang said nothing.
She lowered her head, her fingers gently traced the rim of her crystal wine glass.
Gu Jiahui leaned in close to her ear and whispered, "Do you know who that woman is?"
