Hedonist Prodigy Chapter 14

Guo Conghu wasn’t a sore loser—he’d been defeated before. When training under his master, he’d attacked with all his might, only for the sixty-year-old to flick him three meters away. That lesson taught him there was always someone stronger.

But losing to Jiang Feng? Unacceptable!

Jiang Feng was a joke in their circle. Losing to him meant Guo Conghu was less than a joke—a blow his pride couldn’t take.

Breathing heavily, eyes bloodshot, Guo Conghu glared at Jiang Feng, voice hoarse. “How’d you do it?”

Chen Siran shared his curiosity, her gaze fixed on Jiang Feng—not out of infatuation, but to understand his transformation.

“Can’t say,” Jiang Feng replied coolly.

Guo Conghu roared, “D*mn it, you’re mocking me! You knew my left hand’s injured, didn’t you?”

Jiang Feng smiled faintly, offering no explanation.

Guo Conghu, nearly unhinged, shouted, “Again!”

“Exactly my plan—I’ll break your leg,” Jiang Feng said, each word deliberate.

Guo Conghu paused, then grinned cruelly. “Break my leg? That little strength won’t cut it. Give me everything.”

Before his words settled, Guo Conghu charged like a gale, his kick thundering toward Jiang Feng’s chest. This time, Jiang Feng didn’t dodge. He countered with a kick—not to Guo Conghu’s chest, but his groin.

“Shameless!” Guo Conghu’s face reddened, hastily retracting his leg to block with his knee.

Jiang Feng hadn’t intended to neuter him—just baited the switch. His foot twisted midair, slamming toward Guo Conghu’s knee.

Guo Conghu’s battle instincts kicked in, recognizing the threat. He retreated, dodging, then surged forward, aiming a slicing kick at Jiang Feng’s waist. If it landed, Jiang Feng might spend his life bedridden.

Jiang Feng vanished from Guo Conghu’s sight. Guo Conghu blinked, feeling a chill at his back. Spinning, he lashed out with a side kick.

Bang!

Their feet collided midair. Jiang Feng stepped back; Guo Conghu laughed, “Come on!”

Jiang Feng grinned, moving like the wind, kicking again. Guo Conghu matched him instantly.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

They traded blows relentlessly, neither yielding, legs clashing with fierce gusts.

Chen Siran, watching, flushed slightly, her eyes glued to Jiang Feng, her curiosity brimming. He seemed to like a complete stranger to her now.

Guo Conghu roared, frustrated, unable to overpower Jiang Feng despite relentless attacks.

Jiang Feng wasn’t faring easily either. Guo Conghu’s external martial arts centered on his legs, iron-hard from his ox-like frame. Each clash troubled Jiang Feng, numbing his shins. His nightly herbal baths had saved him from worse—without them, he’d be in trouble.

Still, Guo Conghu’s explosive power impressed him. With proper guidance, Guo Conghu could shine in time.

“Why’d you get so strong?” Guo Conghu demanded.

“I’ll tell you after breaking your leg,” Jiang Feng replied, unwavering.

This was his first true fight since his rebirth. Like Guo Conghu, he refused to lose.

Tempers flared, sparking another round of attacks. They fought like madmen, trading kicks, pushing their bodies to outlast the other.

Jiang Feng lost count of their clashes—his shinbones felt near fracture.

Guo Conghu, panting, wasn’t much better.

With a stomp, Jiang Feng launched forward, propelled by the ground’s rebound.

Guo Conghu’s rugged face twisted ferociously. Instead of retreating, he charged, leg raised high, ready to make Jiang Feng pay.

But he missed—Jiang Feng had slipped to his left, arms reaching for Guo Conghu’s left arm.

Guo Conghu’s face paled. He couldn’t believe Jiang Feng’s audacity, targeting his known weakness again.

Jiang Feng felt no guilt. Even in a test of strength, not life-or-death, subduing an opponent justified any means, fair or not.

Bang!

For the second time, Guo Conghu was flung, crashing face-first into the dirt.

Jiang Feng glided over, flashing a friendly grin, white teeth gleaming. Before the smile faded, his right foot rose, aiming for Guo Conghu’s right knee.

Joints were fragile—shattered, they rarely healed fully.

Guo Conghu, no stranger to injuries, knew Jiang Feng’s intent instantly. Terror gripped him, eyes wide with dread.

Too drained to dodge, too proud to beg, he froze.

Chen Siran sensed disaster, her serene face paling. She tried to stop Jiang Feng but was too late.

As Jiang Feng’s foot descended to crush Guo Conghu’s knee, Chen Siran screamed.

“What are you doing?” a furious voice rang out.

Jiang Feng turned, spotting a familiar figure rushing toward him. Frowning, he muttered a curse.

Shrugging helplessly, he pulled Guo Conghu up. “Congrats, you dodged a bullet.”

Guo Conghu, drenched in cold sweat, scrambled up, legs trembling. Outsiders might miss the gravity of that moment, but he knew—Jiang Feng meant to break his leg and nearly did.

For the first time, Guo Conghu felt death’s shadow. Pale and unsteady, he followed the voice, seeing a woman—decent-looking but unfamiliar.

Why did Jiang Feng, fearless enough to maim, heed her? Was she his lover?

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Sometimes, man and woman shared other bonds—like student and teacher. And if that teacher had a fiery temper, trouble loomed.

Jiang Feng briefly considered fleeing.

All three turned to the newcomer.

Jiang Feng’s last-second restraint relieved Chen Siran, who studied the woman.

She wore a white blouse tucked into faded jeans, paired with canvas shoes—sporty yet casual. Her short hair, neatly styled, danced as she ran, blending strength and wild beauty. Despite her fury, her soft features and wheat-toned skin added unique allure. Even Chen Siran admired her.

The woman sprinted to Jiang Feng, scolding, “What are you doing?”

Jiang Feng gave a wry smile. “You saw it.”

“Explain,” she demanded, heart sinking. A student this brazen—what bad luck she had.

“Nothing to explain. If that’s all, I’m gone,” Jiang Feng said, turning to leave.

She grabbed his arm, urgent. “Not until you explain.”

Jiang Feng felt warmth and softness—her chest pressed against his arm. Glancing down, he hesitated, unsure whether to pull away or linger.

Noticing his odd look, she glanced down, flung his arm away, and blushed furiously. “Pervert!”

Jiang Feng was speechless—unfairly accused.

Guo Conghu snickered, amused either by her accusation or Jiang Feng’s discomfort.

“Don’t laugh!”

“Don’t laugh!”

Jiang Feng and the woman snapped in unison.

They exchanged a glance.

She huffed, pointing at Guo Conghu, exasperated. “Your name? Class? Counselor? Why’re you fighting?”

Guo Conghu’s face flushed with shame, wishing for a hole to hide in under her barrage.
