Hedonist Prodigy Chapter 18

The seductive woman was a hostess at Red Devil Bar, having accompanied Jiang Feng before. She knew he got wild when drunk, tipping generously, and she and her friends had profited plenty. So, whenever she saw him, she turned on the charm, confident that pleasing him meant a fat reward.

She miscalculated this time. Jiang Feng pushed her away, startling her. Before she could speak, he tossed her a few bills and repeated, “Tell me where Li Yuanjue is.”

Seeing his disinterest, she swallowed her disappointment and gave him the room number.

Li Yuanjue was a regular, dropping by for fun now and then. Tonight, stumbling across Ma Lianhao had spiked his excitement.

A curvy woman perched on his lap, feeding him drinks, cooed, “What’s got you so happy, Young Master Li? Tell me.”

Li pinched her backside, grinning. “Make me feel good first, then I’ll tell you.”

She giggled, “You’re so naughty.”

Bang!

The door was kicked open.

Everyone froze as a figure strolled in.

Li Yuanjue’s eyes locked on him, his expression shifting. He loved a grand entourage, always surrounded by friends. Tonight, expecting trouble with Jiang Feng, he’d brought four bodyguards. Stationed outside, they should’ve warned him of anyone approaching.

Yet Jiang Feng walked in, and his men hadn’t made a sound.

“Well, if it isn’t the famous Young Master Jiang. You finally showed,” Li Yuanjue sneered, rising from the sofa.

“You invited me so warmly—how could I refuse?” Jiang Feng replied casually, spotting Ma Lianhao’s disheveled, battered state. His gaze chilled.

“You okay?” he asked Ma Lianhao.

“I’m… fine…” Ma Lianhao groaned inwardly. He’d hoped Jiang Feng would bring backup, not come alone—straight into Li Yuanjue’s trap.

Relieved to see Ma Lianhao wasn’t badly hurt, Jiang Feng turned to Li Yuanjue. “What do you want?”

“To treat you to a proper drink,” Li Yuanjue said venomously.

Jiang Feng smirked, knowing the offer was poison. “Sure, but first, kneel and kowtow three times. Then I’ll humor you with a drink.”

Li Yuanjue’s face twisted with rage. “Who the hell are you to demand I kneel?”

Jiang Feng didn’t bother replying. He stepped forward and slapped Li Yuanjue hard across the face. “Think I won’t touch you?”

Li Yuanjue’s mouth twitched in pain, stunned that Jiang Feng struck so directly. Furious, he lunged, roaring, “You looking to die?”

Jiang Feng didn’t glance at him. Another slap spun Li in place, nearly wrenching his neck.

The two slaps shattered Li Yuanjue’s composure. Like an enraged lion, he bellowed, “Ah Bao what’re you waiting for? Get him!”

At his command, a figure emerged from the shadows. His face was forgettable—utterly average—but his cold eyes marked him as dangerous. Jiang Feng knew instantly: this man had blood on his hands.

Ma Lianhao wasn’t clueless. Seeing Ah Bao he sensed trouble, his cheek twitching. “Young Master, let’s just go.”

Jiang Feng smiled faintly. “Think Young Master Li will let us?”

Li, mistaking Jiang Feng’s calm for fear, regained some swagger. “Damn right. You’re here, you’re not leaving.”

Ignoring him, Jiang Feng squinted at Ah Bao, smirking. “Sure about this, Li Yuanjue?”

“You know my temper,” Li Yuanjue snarled. “But for the Jiang family’s sake, I’ll give you one chance. Two options: kneel and kowtow three times, and we’re square. Or, I break the hand you hit me with.”

He’d mocked Jiang Feng’s demand for kneeling, now flipping it back, knowing Jiang Feng’s pride would never bend. It sounded like a choice, but there wasn’t one—and Li Yuanjue wouldn’t offer one anyway.

Jiang Feng caught his meaning, chuckling. “Break my hand, then.”

Li Yuanjue hadn’t expected that, his eyes narrowing. Jiang Feng’s lone arrival was bold enough, but this fearless attitude? Did he have a hidden ace?

Li hesitated, but rage drowned reason. Even without the racetrack incident, tonight’s slaps demanded retribution. He couldn’t back down now.

A cruel glint curved his lips. “Ah Bao, Young Master Jiang’s spoken. Move.”

Without pause, Ah Bao’s fist shot out. He looked plain, but his strike was swift, ruthless, and powerful—enough to send Jiang Feng flying.

Li Yuanjue’s tension eased, a smile creeping in.

Ah Bao a former underground boxing champ, was a prize he’d paid dearly to recruit. After the racetrack humiliation, he’d waited for this moment. Catching Ma Lianhao tonight was perfect—he’d summoned Ah Bao while making Ma call Jiang Feng.

Let’s see Jiang Feng strut when he’s beaten to a pulp.

Ah Bao’s fist closed in.

Jiang Feng’s faint smile didn’t waver. As the punch neared his chest, he sidestepped smoothly.

Ah Bao’s heart jolted. His fist was ferocious, thrown to catch Jiang Feng off guard, yet Jiang Feng dodged. His expression hardened.

Experienced, he didn’t falter. Shifting, he swung a palm at Jiang Feng’s face.

But Jiang Feng was faster.

As Ah Bao adjusted, Jiang Feng’s hand flicked out. His move seemed leisurely, yet slap—a crisp sound echoed as his palm struck Ah Bao’s cheek.

The sharp slap stunned the room. Ah Bao’s face twisted with fury. He’d thought a useless playboy like Jiang Feng would crumple easily, not dodge and counter.

Lunging, Ah Bao angled his shoulder, charging Jiang Feng’s chest like a slippery fish, eager to punish his arrogance.

One misstep led to ruin.

Underestimating Jiang Feng had cost Ah Bao his chance. Jiang Feng wasn’t merciful. As Ah Bao charged, Jiang Feng twisted, arms shooting out to clamp Ah Bao’s shoulders.

His fingers dug in like claws, yanking Ah Bao off balance. A knee flashed up, smashing into Ah Bao’s stomach.

Agony surged through Ah Bao. He screamed as Jiang Feng’s lips curled cruelly. Like an eagle snatching prey, Jiang Feng hoisted him off the ground and slammed him down.

Bang!

A dull thud rang out.

Ah Bao wailed, eyes bulging at Jiang Feng, unable to believe he’d lost so utterly, without a chance to fight back.

This wasn’t the powerless wastrel—this was a demon.

Jiang Feng didn’t care what Ah Bao thought. The moment Ah Bao attacked, this outcome was sealed.

Without hesitation, he flashed forward, stomping on Ah Bao’s ribs.

Crack—bones snapped.

Ah Bao’s eyes widened further, incoherent whimpers escaping before he passed out, whites showing.

The result shocked everyone.

Li Yuanjue froze, dumbfounded by Jiang Feng’s lightning-fast brutality. Even Ma Lianhao, who knew Jiang Feng well, gaped, mouth wide enough for an egg. Li Yuanjue’s cronies were terrified, some nearly wetting themselves.

Jiang Feng ignored them. Without a week of relentless body tempering, he might’ve struggled with Ah Bao. Now, though his cultivation hadn’t advanced, his physical strength had soared.

Against Guo Conghu, he’d need tricks to win.

Ah Bao a notch below Guo, stood no chance.

Jiang Feng could take Guo in twenty moves without tactics—Ah Bao was nothing.
