In the Celestial Clan's main courtyard, the air buzzed with activity. Servants bustled about, decorating the grounds with rare flowers and luminous lanterns, their chatter blending into a hum of anticipation. The clan was preparing for the arrival of Lin Yuqing, the fiancée of Xian Tianyang. Her visit was more than a personal matter; it symbolized the alliance between the Celestial Clan and the Eternal Bloom Clan.
At the center of it all stood Tianyang, his arms crossed as he observed the preparations.
"Do we really need this much fanfare?" Tianyang asked, his voice tinged with skepticism.
Elder Rong, standing nearby, chuckled. "Young Master, it's not every day the 'Blooming Empress' graces our home. Her arrival must reflect the grandeur of our clan."
Mengqi sauntered over, a playful grin on her face. "Admit it, brother. You're nervous."
Tianyang shot her a cool glance. "Nervous? Hardly. I'm more concerned about the unnecessary distractions."
"Distractions?" Mengqi raised an eyebrow. "You mean like you standing here micromanaging everything?"
Before Tianyang could reply, a distant rumble shook the ground. The chatter of the servants ceased as everyone froze.
"What was that?" Mengqi asked, her playful tone replaced by alarm.
Elder Rong's expression darkened. "That came from the southern perimeter."
Moments later, the main hall erupted into chaos as scouts rushed in, their faces pale.
"Patriarch Wulong!" one of them shouted. "We're under attack! The southern defense line has been breached!"
Patriarch Wulong, seated on his throne, rose with an aura that silenced the room. "Who dares attack the Celestial Clan?"
"It's the Vermilion Flame Clan!" the scout reported. "They've allied with several other top-ranked families and brought a devastating force!"
Tianyang's eyes narrowed. "The Vermilion Flame Clan... the second major family."
Elder Su slammed her hand on the table. "This is an act of war!"
Patriarch Wulong turned to Tianyang. "You'll lead the defense, Tianyang. Show them why the Celestial Clan is unmatched."
Tianyang nodded. "Consider it done."
As the battle unfolded, the southern courtyard became a maelstrom of chaos. The Vermilion Flame Clan's warriors surged forward, their crimson armor glowing with heat as fire-based techniques lit up the sky.
"Formation!" Tianyang commanded, his voice cutting through the din.
Dozens of Celestial Clan warriors responded instantly, forming a defensive wall. Their techniques shimmered with celestial energy, countering the fiery onslaught with dazzling shields of light.
Mengqi, standing beside Tianyang, smirked. "I'll take the left flank. Don't have too much fun without me."
"Stay focused, Mengqi," Tianyang replied. "They're not here for games."
Suddenly, a massive fireball hurtled toward them, crackling with destructive energy.
"Divine Severance!" Tianyang roared, unsheathing his sword in a flash of light. The blade sliced through the fireball, dispersing it into harmless embers.
From the opposing side, a figure stepped forward—a towering man at the peak of the Spirit Transformation Realm, with flaming red hair and a menacing grin.
"Tianyang!" the man bellowed. "I am Feng Zhen, the commander of this assault. Let's see if the so-called prodigy lives up to his name!"
"Step in line, Feng Zhen," Tianyang replied coldly. "You'll regret coming here."
The battle intensified as Feng Zhen charged forward, his fists engulfed in flames.
"Blazing Tiger Strike!" Feng Zhen shouted, unleashing a torrent of fiery claw strikes.
Tianyang dodged with effortless precision, his movements fluid as water. "Is that all you've got?"
In response, Tianyang activated one of his signature techniques.
"Celestial Tempest!" he yelled, his sword emitting a whirlwind of celestial energy. The attack clashed with Feng Zhen's flames, creating a shockwave that sent nearby combatants flying.
Meanwhile, Mengqi was holding her own against a squad of elite Vermilion warriors.
"Starfall Blossom!" she chanted, summoning a storm of glowing petals that sliced through the enemy ranks.
"You're getting sloppy!" Mengqi taunted as she dispatched another foe.

"Reinforce the eastern gates!" Elder Su commanded.
Elder Rong nodded, but there was an unusual hesitation in his movements.
"Elder Rong," Patriarch Wulong said sharply. "What's the matter?"
Before Elder Rong could respond, he suddenly turned, a blade appearing in his hand.
"Forgive me, Patriarch," Rong said, his voice cold. "But my allegiance lies elsewhere."
Gasps erupted as Elder Rong lunged at Wulong, his blade aimed for the Patriarch's heart.
"Traitor!" Elder Su shouted, intercepting the attack with her staff.
"You'll pay for this treachery!"
In the midst of the chaos, Tianyang noticed the commotion in the distance.
"Rong betrayed us?" he muttered, his grip tightening on his sword.
Feng Zhen took advantage of Tianyang's momentary distraction.
"Phoenix Ascension!" Feng Zhen roared, summoning a massive phoenix made of flames.
The fiery beast soared toward Tianyang, its heat melting the very ground beneath it.
Tianyang's eyes sharpened. "Not so fast."
He raised his sword high. "Celestial Judgment!"
A beam of pure light shot from his blade, colliding with the phoenix and obliterating it in a blinding explosion.
As the battle raged on, Tianyang fought his way toward the main hall, his blade cutting down enemy after enemy.
"Elder Rong!" he shouted as he burst into the room. "You dare betray the Celestial Clan?"
Rong smirked. "The Celestial Clan's glory is fading, Tianyang. Aligning with the Vermilion Flame Clan ensures survival."
Tianyang's expression turned icy. "You've chosen poorly."
The two clashed in a fierce duel, Rong's shadowy techniques clashing against Tianyang's celestial energy.
"You're strong, but you lack conviction," Tianyang said as their blades locked.
"And you lack experience," Rong sneered, unleashing a hidden dagger toward Tianyang's side.
But Tianyang anticipated the move. Twisting his body, he countered with a spinning slash.
"Starbreaker Slash!" Tianyang roared, his blade cleaving through Rong's defenses and sending him sprawling.
