Chapter 26: Mine
"I will give you a few days to sort out your things and also to think things through before deciding."
"No! Wait, I already decided I am willing to be married to you." Serena said as she thought what if he changed his mind, Serena knew that if she does not accept him now, she would most likely have to leave her entire life as a spinster, only him can make her heart beat furiously against her rib cage.
"Careful now kitten, so you don’t regret your decision."
"I won’t i just need you to give me two days to discuss with my grandparents." Serena said determinedly.
" you don’t have to worry about that, I will come personally to ask for your hand in marriage properly, kitten." Eiravyn’s lips lifted into a lazy smirk, eyes glinting with mischief.
Serena gaped at him surprise that he would even think about something like that, but she quickly nodded her head.
"You are mine kitten, you belong to me and no one else." Eiravyn said as he lifted her hand, the same hand Lukas had kissed as he used his fingers to brush it clean before he placed his own kiss there, he turned to leave as he told her to contact him with the contact line, his P. A had given her.
How did he know that the man had given her his number, he was strange she thought to herself before she turned and call out to him,
"Mr. Won, you are yet to tell me your full name."
""Eiravyn Won" he said smoothly, turning away from her, and left the hall after a curt goodnight."
Serena stood frozen as she watched his retreating back, his shoulders was so broad, making his whole physique look large, his every step was fluid, and screamed of power, demanding respect from anybody that saw him even without him doing anything, his every being is mysterious yet she had blindly just agreed to be his wife. " you have gone crazy, Serena." A whisper in her head told her but she could not deny the pull she felt for this man.
""Eiravyn." Serena whispered to herself, Even his name sounded mysterious, she could tell that this man was most certainly not a normal human being but she could not help the longing she felt for him. Longing to be with him, longing to claim him as her own, he had even taken the initiative to propose to her. She was trying to imagine him with her grandparents but she could not picture them together, what would her grandparents think? Will they agree to their union, she could not tell but she hope they would, because their opinion mean the world to her."
Kathy suddenly appeared in front of her "Renie you would not believe what happened to me on my way back from the restroom..." Kathy chatted away before she paused as she noticed that Serena was not listening to her, she looked at Serena.
"Renie!" Kathy snapped her fingers in her face as it appeared she was in deep thoughts, when Serena finally looked at her.
"What happened when I was gone, you seem out of it?" Kathy asked worriedly, "was it Mr. Won, did he reject you again?there was a slight pause but Kathy did not allow Serena answer her questions as she continued blabbering,
"Don’t tell me he rejected you again, Wait! What the fuck, did he really reject you?" Kathy went on as she was beginning to raise her voice "who is he exactly, i want to see him, let me give him a piece of my mind, how can he reject someone like you, Renie please talk to me."
"He asked me to marry him, and I said yes." Serena finally blunted out as she snapped out of her daze, she said, almost like she was still in a trance.
"What!!! You did what?" Kathy exclaimed, forgetting they were in a public place. Heads turn to them, curious murmurs rippling through the crowded hall.
"Keep your voice down Kathy, everyone is staring at us."
Kathy stared at Serena like she had grown two heads before she finally said, "yes let get out of here before I murder someone."
