Xue Yinzhou’s movements paused; he hadn’t expected her to think of such things in a moment like this. It appeared she truly liked his snake shedding.

He paused, lingering at the door, unsure whether he should go in.
The ingrained etiquette taught him that eavesdropping was unsavory behavior and he should turn and leave.
But Lu Xiao heard the female’s passionate voice, his Adam’s apple rolling, mouth dry with heat, his body stirring a subtle, different feeling.
He looked towards the upstairs room, his dark eagle-like eyes growing somber.
The noises, just hearing them, were enough to imagine how intense the scene must be.
Images uncontrollably surfaced in Lu Xiao’s mind.

Lu Xiao closed his eyes, took a deep breath, restraining certain inappropriate thoughts.
