The way that one used magic was to use imagination to control mana into doing what one wanted it to do.
For someone like me who came from another world that was far more technologically advanced than this world, I was able to imagine things that others couldn't.
Such as using flames like some kind of plasma saw blade.
These were concepts that hadn't been realized in my past life, but I had done it in this world using magic and imagination. With the power of the two, I had been able to form this saw blade of plasma using the power of the fire spirit Pyro.
Though this wasn't something that I had developed, even if I was the high elf avatar that should have been able to use the power of the spirits the best.
The one that developed this was the avatar that was obsessed with magic, Faust.
He did have more free time than the rest of us…
As soon as the plasma blade entered the wall, there was no resistance that came from it. The plasma blade just melted the wall itself, along with any of the mechanisms that were behind the wall that was holding it in place.
After I stabbed the plasma blade into the wall, I started moving it as if I was carving out a door. Though while I was doing it, I did make sure to follow the outline that Yulian had shown me with Aero's power.
From that, I was able to follow the general outline of the door until I was able to carve it out.
Though I found that halfway in, it seemed like the door was about to collapse.
It was a good thing that I had been holding it with one hand, or it would have collapsed on me while I was still cutting out the door.
Holding it , I let the door slowly fall towards me until the path forward was cleared. After the door fell, I pulled it out of the way so that it would be easier for me to enter.
After walking for a bit, I found what I was looking for.
This cave was much bigger than just that main cave and all of the supply rooms.
That was because this cave was one that was used to hide all of the illegal things that they were dealing in.
It wasn't just slaves that this group dealt in, there were many other things that were also in this room full of illegal items.
These people clearly didn't put their eggs in a single basket with how many things were in this room. They had all kinds of different contraband that were outlawed by different races.
However, that was the key point.
There were some that were outlawed by certain races and some that weren't outlawed by other races. As long as there was the right buyer, they would be able to earn quite a bit since these items were rare among the races that would buy them.
Though for people that dealt in slaves, which was a practice that was generally outlawed in most races other than in the demon race, it wasn't as if they would care if they broke the law or not.
So there was no doubt that the items that were in this room were going to be used for illegal business.
"But where's the boss of this whole operation?" I still couldn't help muttering after seeing all of this.
As if to answer this question, there was a sound that came from behind me.
Or it was better to say that this was a sound that was coming from the main room of this cave, which was where the thugs had been partying before this.
As soon as I heard this noise, I knew what was happening.
The boss of this place had come back and was dissatisfied with the thugs that were partying outside.
But for the boss to act this way…
"It seems like he's found out about what happened at the manor." I said with a faint smile.
Hearing this sound, I turned around without any hesitation to face the boss and these thugs.
They were the ones that I had been looking for, or at least the boss was.
When I walked out, I saw the boss cursing at the thugs before yelling at them to follow him.
This boss was wearing a full cloak, so I wasn't actually able to see their face. At the same time, it seemed like they were using some kind of magic item to hide their voice as well.
This kind of magic item certainly wasn't cheap, so it seemed like they had made quite a bit of money doing all of these illegal things.
When they were about to reach the room, I suddenly made my move.
"Ah!" The thugs screamed out in pain as flames suddenly appeared around them.
However, the boss wasn't that easy to catch off guard as there was a magic barrier that appeared around him. From the mana fluctuations that came from the cloak, it was clear that this cloak was the thing that had released this barrier.
It seemed that this boss had no lack of magic items with how even his cloak had a barrier attached to it.
"Who are you?" The boss asked without a single care for the thugs that were being burned by the flames. Even when they called out to him for help, he just ignored them as he looked around, trying to find the source of the flames.
I didn't say anything as I gathered the flames around the boss before suddenly waving my hand at him.
The moment that I waved my hand, the flames gathered around my hand in an instant and formed another plasma blade that hit the magic barrier.
