"Ha!" I shouted before throwing the ball of flames out in front of me.
Since they wanted a show, I would give them a proper show.
The high elves weren’t surprised at all seeing me throw the ball of flames forward, but their expressions soon changed once they saw the ball of flames land.
That was because the wall of flames that had been created after the ball of flames landed was far stronger than what they had expected.
Even if it was enhanced by the power of a wind spirit, this was not the kind of power that a Primary Grade Fire Spirit was able to demonstrate.
The flames of the flame wall surged upwards of over twenty meters into the air, but this wasn’t actually tall enough to reach the Tree of Life. At the same time, I was in full control of the flames so it wasn’t as if I would allow it to reach the Tree of Life.
Once I let the flames burn for a bit, I suddenly brought my hand down and they went out.
The only look on the faces of the high elves around me were looks of shock.
As for Nimue and Rania, I could see the looks of awe that were on their faces.
It seemed like Rania even forgot about her disappointment when she saw that I controlled flames like Nimue rather than water like her.
The only ones that seemed to have a different opinion were Qilynn and Umero.
The look on their faces made it seem like they were deep in thought as they looked at me.
After a while, Qilynn finally said, "Medium Grade Spirit?"
Though she didn’t say it in a loud voice, all of the high elves heard this and looked at her with looks of shock.
They were even more shocked when they saw Umero give a nod of confirmation.
These two were the chief and the high priest, they were the two strongest among them. So it wasn’t as if the two of them would make a mistake on this matter.
Once they slowly came back to their senses, the high elves turned back to look at me like I was some kind of monster.
When they did, that was when I finally gave a nod to confirm it before saying, "I contracted the Medium Grade Spirit of fire and wind."
Smiles appeared on the faces of Qilynn and Umero when they heard this while the other high elves all revealed complicated looks on their faces.
It was only Nimue and Rania who looked confused when I said this.
Qilynn went over to their side and whispered a few things in their ears.
When she was done, they turned to look at me with the same look of shock that the other high elves had. But there was also even more awe and admiration that appeared in their eyes.
Of course, there were still things that I was hiding from them.
After all, it wasn’t as if I had only made a contract with two spirits.
Four spirits, that was the number of spirits that I had contracted in this baptism from the Tree of Life.
It was just a good thing that they weren’t actually able to forcefully find out what kind of spirits I had contracted and they weren’t interested in this. Otherwise they certainly would have been shocked to find the light and dark spirits that I had contracted as well.

The only reason that they could co-exist in my body was because of the Shared Stats Skill.

There was a long silence that lingered in the air as they all looked at me before it seemed like there was something that Umero wanted to say.
But before he could, Qilynn raised a hand to stop him before giving him a look that made him swallow his words.
Only after she made him stop did she turn back to me.
Coming closer, she suddenly revealed a smile and asked, "What are your plans now? Are you planning to leave the Verdant Forest right away?"
I was surprised to hear this question from her, but I didn’t misinterpret it.
Others might think that she was chasing me out of the Verdant Forest with those final words, but I knew that this wasn’t the case. After all, elves didn’t have the same hidden meaning in their words that other races had.
She was genuinely asking me what I was planning to do now.
But I didn’t answer right away as I looked at that smile on Qilynn’s face.
Even if she didn’t have malicious intent, it wasn’t as if she was asking this question out of the goodness of her heart either. There had to be something else that she wanted from asking this question.
Only I had no idea what she was thinking based on that smile on her face alone.
So in the end, I slowly shook my head and said, "Not yet, I’m in no rush to leave."
Qilynn suddenly gave a clap that caught me and the rest of the high elves off guard. Many of them couldn’t help jumping since they were still in a daze over what happened just now.
Then with the same smile, Qilynn asked, "How about enrolling in the Verdant Academy? Since you’re here, it would be a waste if you didn’t enroll."
I was once again caught off guard by her before slightly tilting my head as if I was thinking about it.
But in reality, I had already come to a decision.
"Alright, I’ll accept this offer." I said after a long pause which made Qilynn give another happy clap in response.
