Bo Sishen looked at Mu Shini for a long time before saying, "What made you interested in learning about military people today? Isn’t your grandpa a soldier? Haven’t you asked him?"
"That’s not what I meant. I wanted to ask you about someone." Mu Shini stood up, shed her restraint, sat down beside Bo Sishen, and wrapped her arm around his, looking at him seriously.
Bo Sishen’s expression froze. He glanced sideways at Mu Shini, and could tell from her expression what she was going to ask next, but he pretended to be calm and said, "Who do you want to know about?"
Mu Shini straightened up, coughed lightly, and said, "You mentioned that person earlier, our military professor."
"What do you want to know about him? Are you interested in him?" Bo Sishen’s tone was devoid of warmth.
Mu Shini bit her lip, paused, and said, "I have no improper thoughts about him. Stop always linking me to him..."
"Then what do you want to know about him?" Bo Sishen adjusted his sitting posture.
"Because I saw a photo of him, he was wearing an Air Force uniform, and he had the rank of Major General. I remember my grandpa saying something. You are the Supreme Commander of the X Air Force. Do you know an Air Force officer named Faris?"
Mu Shini forced herself to finish speaking, fully prepared to endure the consequences of asking her husband about another man and potentially angering him.
"Is his information that important to you?" Bo Sishen asked in a stern voice.
Mu Shini held his arm, her fingers trembling slightly, and met Bo Sishen’s cold gaze.
"He is a very mysterious person. I just want to know who he is and exactly which military district he’s in." Mu Shini tried to make her voice sound natural and gentle, but when she spoke, it felt as if the words were forced out through clenched teeth.
God knows how terrified she was that Bo Sishen might yell at her.
"Then why didn’t you ask your grandpa? He’s been in the military for so many years, who hasn’t he seen?" Bo Sishen tossed the question back at Mu Shini.
Mu Shini stared at him. Although she couldn’t tell if there was a flame of fury in his eyes, she could accurately feel the pressure emanating from him.
Taking a deep breath, she said, "How could I dare to ask Grandpa about other men besides you?"
"So, it’s okay to bring it up in front of your husband? Aren’t you afraid I’ll deal with you?" Bo Sishen curled his lips, unaware that his eyes harbored an invisible, chilling light.
Such a cold gaze could almost kill.
Even someone as dense as Mu Shini could sense the danger in the air. She laughed awkwardly and said unnaturally, "Isn’t it more direct to ask you? You’re also in the Air Force, you might know him."
