You Heard That I Would Be Going On A Blind Date?
Luo Tianlin’s handsome face twitched slightly.
Xia Bohe could not resist the urge to look down at the floral patterns on the carpet, where her feet were planted on. She tried her best to hide the trace of a smile on her face.
Xu Yazhi placed the fruit platter on a small table. She turned to face Xia Bohe with a warm, kind smile on her face.
“Good girl. The mung bean soup has been chilled for a while. It has a cooling taste, but cannot be too cold. It will help you cool down from the summer heat. I have selected a few types of fruits for you as well. Just pick the ones that you like and have them. Dinner will be served in a little while,” she told her.
“Women are made of water. Eat more fruits for good skin,” she added.
She did not wait for Xia Bohe’s response. Her gaze flitted past Luo Tianlin and landed on the wall behind him.
“As a man, you must be more generous at heart,” she stated.
Luo Tianlin frowned.
Xu Yazhi coughed lightly. “Your grandfather and father will be back soon. Despite having been in the Luo family for so many years, I have never seen them making things hard for women on purpose, what more treating your own woman that way,” she said.
Done with what she had to say, she seemed relieved yet anxious at the same time. She then left the room quickly without daring to even take a glance at Luo Tianlin.
After disappearing from sight, she seemed to have remembered something. She spoke again.
“Bohe, come do some flower arrangements with me when you are free,” she added.
Her final words rang out from outside the door. Eventually, her voice died away along with the sounds of her hurried footsteps.
It seemed like she was escaping in fear.

I hope that we can maintain our relationship as husband and wife for the time being. If your mother needs help, I can help to resolve it,” he said.
“You have to maintain your image as my wife in the outside world. You can do as you wish at home.”
“You can leave a year after, at most. I will give you the corresponding monetary compensations. This includes support for your development in the entertainment industry.”
Luo Tianlin’s voice evened out. He did not increase the volume of his voice, but it still gave off a strong sense of oppression all the same. It felt as if she were standing before a tall, precipitous mountain peak.
