Hogwarts, i am Dementor Chapter 229

The body of the eyes hid in the darkness, but in just a moment, it quickly vanished.

"What was that? What did you see?" B turned his head to look at where A was staring.

"There... there were eyes just now," A said breathlessly.

That was next to the closet – they had just checked, there was nothing there at all – the bedroom door hadn't been opened either, so whose eyes were those?

A looked uncertainly again at the spot where the child was on the bed.

The child was still under the covers.

In horror movies, there's always someone who, despite the obviously strange situation, still has to approach the location where weird things happen, just like A—

He slowly approached the spot where the yellow eyes had disappeared, even working up the courage to reach into the shadows.

"Is... is there anything there...?" B asked fearfully.

"No, it's a suitcase," A said with relief. "Guess there must be some stickers on it, but what's the deal with putting a suitcase in a kid's room? Shouldn't there be a backpack?"

"Trying to look cool, just like those agents on TV," B also said with relief. "When I was in school, I also liked to bring adult stuff to school to show off to my classmates..."

"No wonder Principal Nelson wanted to meet your parents that time," A said, opening the latches of the suitcase and turning to tease B. "You were the idiot who blew up a condom like a balloon to show that pretty girl, Daisy, in our class, right?"

"How much better were you?" B retorted fiercely. "The moron who brought an inflatable doll to arts and crafts class!"

"Tsk tsk tsk..." Earl made a clicking sound of amazement at these two incredibly audacious Muggle thieves.

"What was that noise!"

This time, both of them heard it clearly.

"Something's not right here..." B uncertainly checked on the child in the bed again, but that sound definitely didn't come from the bed.

"Don't, don't worry about that..." A opened the suitcase, his voice trembling slightly.

"Maybe we should just switch rooms quickly..." B said uneasily. "Kids' rooms don't have money..."

Updating is not easy, remember to share on 101 Novel Network.

"You gotta see this..." A swallowed hard, his eyes fixed on the inside of the opened suitcase.

"Money in the suitcase?" B moved very quietly towards A's location.

A didn't speak. When B also leaned over to see what was inside the suitcase, he was completely stunned.

Logically speaking, this suitcase should be very shallow.

But in reality, the suitcase had an extremely deep interior, and at the bottom, a very bright "exit" could be seen.

B, a little unwilling to believe it, picked up the suitcase. It could even be lifted and moved, but the inside looked exactly the same.

"Looks just like... magic..." A said in a daze. "Is it an illusion, or..."

"It seems real inside..." B reached into the suitcase. His hand couldn't touch the bottom at all; the suitcase was really, really deep.

"Don't know the principle, but this thing must be very valuable..." A's gaze towards the suitcase gradually became fiery. "Let's take this thing away—"

Before he could finish speaking, a sudden suction pulled both of them into the suitcase.

The two fell into the suitcase, their voices echoing faintly from the opening.

Snap— The lid of the suitcase closed.

"Are all Muggles this stupid, or are just these two thieves this stupid?" Earl asked Cohen, who had sat up in bed at some point.

"Feels like none of them are right in the head..."

Cohen shook his head, threw back the covers, jumped out of bed, and took a piece of paper from the nightstand to wipe his philtrum.

The sleeping draught, of course, had no effect on Cohen, but the smell was a bit strong.

At the same time, the two small thieves on the other side had already arrived at the plain where Cohen's cottage was located.

Not far away was a small hill with a cave, a dense forest, sheep pens and pig pens surrounded by wooden fences, and large fields of flowers and wheat...

A bright moon hung in the sky, but they were clearly in a strange suitcase inside a house... why did it feel like they had come outdoors again?

The wooden house next to them wasn't very normal either, because behind the wooden house was a huge stone statue head, looking like a wizened old eccentric.

The most abnormal thing was the fir tree in front of the house. It looked like it had been soaked in blood, and there were still some meat scraps hanging on it. The surrounding grass was also littered with blood and drag marks – it was hard not to associate it with the twisted works of some murderous maniac.

"I, we, we should probably... run away?" B stammered. "This place looks..."

A also seemed to be thinking about running away, but when he turned his head, he could only see...

"Damn it, did we fall from the sky?!" A stared wide-eyed at the very obvious suitcase lid in the sky behind them.

"How do we climb up to the sky?" B said desperately. "I must be dreaming. When I wake up, I'll find myself lying at home, dizzy with hunger..."

"Then forget about the exit," A gritted his teeth. "There are houses built here, there must be food, and people will come – we'll just say we don't know how we got in when we meet someone – this is too damn outrageous – suitcase... weird noises... door in the sky..."

The two didn't dare go to the cave or the forest, only daring to approach the wooden house.

Because the wooden house was already the safest place here – at least it should be man-made.

"Got the knife?" A asked B before knocking on the door. "What if there's a psycho killer living inside..."

He made a throat-slitting gesture towards B.

"Can we really take on a killer?" B looked back nervously at the eerie "Christmas tree."

"Nonsense, there are two of us, how could we not beat one?" A cursed. "How can you start a business if you're such a scaredy-cat?"

"If you're so brave... why don't we just rob someone?" B asked. "And... what if there's more than one person in the house?"

The two knocked on the door, but there was no response from inside, only some low hissing sounds.

The two pushed open the door. They didn't see anyone, just some strange, green, scaly, thick things piled on the floor of the house...

A uncontrollably screamed when the thick green body started to slide.

A huge, ferocious snake head stared at the two black-clad thieves with large, terrifying yellow eyes.

Even the colorful scarf coiled on its head like a nest didn't make this frightening appearance any less unsettling.

[Mama! It's them!] the baby Basilisk raised half of its body from behind Thessalhydra, [In Daddy's room! I didn't eat them!]

The baby Basilisk's tone was very proud, as if not attacking strangers was already something worth being praised for.
