Ian opened the car door and got out. He held a small white gift box in his hand and handed it to her, his voice warm and gentle, "It was your birthday the day before yesterday, right? I didn’t get a chance to give you a gift, so I’m making it up today. Happy birthday, Director Ginger."
Daisy was slightly taken aback, her gaze falling on the small gift box in Ian’s palm. She reached out to take it, hesitated for a moment, and then asked with a soft smile, "Can I open it now and take a look?"
Ian smiled and said, "Of course you can."
Daisy looked down and opened the white gift box. Inside, two platinum diamond earrings sparkled with a gentle luster under the moonlight.
The earrings weren’t particularly extravagant gifts but were given appropriately, leaving no room for refusal.
Daisy looked at them for a moment, then lifted her head to smile slightly at Ian, "Ian, thank you. I really gift."

Daisy soaked in a hot bath, walking out of the bathroom with steam clinging to her body.

Thinking of those platinum earrings, Daisy put down the hairdryer and reached out to open the gift box, taking out the earrings.
The earrings were of a common size, without any elaborate carvings, but adorned with tiny diamonds that sparkled under the light like a sky full of stars.
Daisy put on the earrings in front of the mirror and took a look.
