The sunlight was too dazzling; when Daisy Ginger’s gaze fell directly on that piece of cemetery, her retinas were nearly burned by the white light reflected off the tombstone.
The green grassland, blocks of snow-white tombstones, distinctly outlined in the winter sunlight.
Daisy’s eyes gradually adjusted, and she was finally able to see clearly. She pursed her lips, glanced at Robert Stephens, and asked, "Why did you bring me here?"
Robert lifted his chin forward slightly, "Did you feel anything?"
Daisy was getting impatient. She stepped forward and stood in front of Robert, blocking his view. She looked down at this handsome man sitting in the wheelchair and asked, "Stop being mysterious with me! If you have something to say, just say it! I’m not in the mood to play guessing games with you!"
Being brought all the way from Banyan City to this godforsaken place was already enough to irritate someone, and the tone of the man in front of her further unsettled her.
He said someone was deceiving her.

And what is this place, this cemetery?
Robert’s lips turned indifferent and he spoke casually, "Miss Ginger is being too impatient. If you don’t enjoy the process of unlocking secrets, you might be dissatisfied when the conclusion arrives later."
He pressed a button on the wheelchair armrest, and soon, a tightly closed door was opened.
A familiar-looking woman walked in from outside.
Daisy glanced over and immediately recognized that it was Charlotte Smith!
Charlotte’s face remained unchanged when she saw her. She simply walked over mechanically and stood behind Robert Stephens.
Robert looked at Daisy and smiled, "Miss Ginger, shall we go for a walk?"
Daisy pursed her lips, looked at Robert’s face; his confident demeanor unconsciously compelled followers.
This is a strong-minded man, well-prepared.
He wouldn’t do anything uncertain, and having brought her here, he must be ready for any kind of resistance she might have.
Daisy exhaled lightly and followed Robert out of the room.
The temperature wasn’t high, but it was noon, with bright sunlight. The wind blowing carried a hint of warmth.
Daisy wrapped herself tightly in her wool coat, wondering if Edward Stephens was looking for her everywhere at the moment, while walking slowly with Robert in the cemetery.
All these are nameless tombstones.
Some had photos, some were just bare white tombstones standing on the ground, with unknown deceased buried below.
"This is a charity cemetery; most of them are dead homeless people, unidentified bodies for which killers were never found. They are cremated and buried here," Robert introduced, "Some people can’t even leave a photo, nor does anyone know their date of birth..."
Daisy spoke quietly, "Why did you bring me here?"
The man turned his head slightly, smiled at her, "You can see if there’s anyone you’re familiar with here. Maybe you can find an old friend of yours here."
Daisy clenched her hand, glanced at Robert, and then turned away.
Her eyes paused on a tombstone, and suddenly her pupils searched intensely!
