Daisy Ginger drove to Ethan Pond’s bar.

Daisy, familiar with the place, walked in and indeed saw Ethan standing in front of the bar, mixing drinks.
In front of him sat a group of women, clearly more interested in him than the drinks, clearly there to flirt with him rather than enjoy the alcohol.
Daisy walked over, casually found a gap, and squeezed in. The woman she displaced clicked her tongue lightly in displeasure, but when Daisy took off her mask and glanced at her, the woman caught sight of her face, was startled, and then backed away.
Daisy, taking advantage of her good looks, sat at the bar with poise and said to the bartender, "One hot milk, please."
Her voice was crisp, causing those around to quieten and look over, curious about who would order milk at a bar.
Upon hearing the voice, Ethan turned around, saw her, and smiled, "Daisy."
Daisy rested her chin on her hand, her face adorned with a slight smile, her features appearing softly gentle in the dim bar lighting.
Ethan genuinely poured her a glass of hot milk, "How come you have time to go out today?"
She was busy with work and didn’t often meet up with them, and even now, Ethan didn’t know she had been in Los Angeles for half a month.
But there’s no point in letting them know; it’s something she couldn’t handle herself, dragging Ethan and the others down would probably disrupt their peaceful lives.
Ethan and Zoe Hilker, both orphans from a young age, could now peacefully run a shop together, which was already very good; she didn’t want to cause them trouble.
"Just got back from a business trip, came over to see you guys." Daisy looked around and curiously asked, "Ethan, where’s Zoe? Did she skip work today?"
"She went on a date." Ethan replied.
Daisy propped her face on her hand and smiled, "She’s dating now?"
"A college student, it won’t last long, I think," Ethan said indifferently, "What common topics could they have?"
"It’s good to have a relationship," Daisy said. "Zoe’s not as hung up as I am, it’s a positive thing. But you, you’re getting older, when will you find a girlfriend?"
Ethan glanced at her.
Daisy’s smile under the lights was lazy like a cat.
He looked away, "Not interested."
Daisy pouted, feeling bored, "You’re just going to spend your life with bikes and engines, then."
Ethan laughed; he was young and handsome, and Daisy heard a few small gasps from around them.
"What made you free to come here and roast me today? Where’s Edward Stephens? Did you leave him at home to wither away?"
"..." Daisy’s face darkened slightly at that name, but the dim lights kept Ethan from noticing.
She asked, "Ethan, what do you think of him now?"
Ethan poured a cocktail for a customer, looked at her upon hearing her question, seemed to think he understood something, and asked, "Did you have a fight with him?"
"..." Daisy pressed her lips together, "No."
Ethan didn’t believe her.
"After the hard time you both had getting together, after waiting for him so long, don’t waste time on trivial issues. Go back and make up; don’t let insignificant matters harm your relationship."
Daisy felt like crying.
Indeed, everyone who knew her knew how long she had waited for him.
Waited so long, yet still couldn’t get him back.
With her head lowered, Daisy’s voice was hoarse as she said, "Ethan, don’t you think he’s completely different now from how he used to be?"
