Under the luminescent glow of a full moon, Sarah sat on the edge of the lake, her long hair cascading down her back. The cool breeze sent ripples across the water's surface, and she found herself lost in the tranquility of the night. It had been a long day of evading the undead, and this moment of peace felt almost surreal.
Ethan, her older brother, approached quietly, careful not to disturb the fragile serenity. "Sarah, we need to keep moving. It's not safe here," he whispered, his eyes scanning the shadows.

Suddenly, a rustling in the nearby bushes broke the silence. Olivia emerged, her expression one of urgent excitement. "I found something. You both need to see this," she said, leading them to a hidden path.

"I thought you'd find this place," Marcus said, his voice low and gravelly. "It's a safe house. We can rest here for the night."
Ethan eyed him suspiciously but nodded. They had little choice. Inside the cabin, the group settled in, grateful for the shelter. As they sat around a small fire, Marcus began to share his story.
