General Viktor "Bloodfang" Kruger stood at the heart of his war room, the dim golden light casting deep shadows over his scarred face. His crimson beret sat perfectly on his head, a symbol of his unwavering command, but behind his cold, piercing eyes, something was shifting.

Kruger was silent for a moment. His fingers absentmindedly brushed the hilt of his combat knife, the steel cold against his skin. "Deploy Reaper-77," he said, his voice calm but edged with something dark.
Rook hesitated for half a second before nodding. "Understood, sir."
As the sergeant left, Dr. Sylvia "Plague Mistress" Voss stepped forward, her amusement barely hidden beneath a sly smirk. "You hesitate more than usual, General. The serum… it's pushing you toward something greater, but you resist."
Kruger shot her a glare, his jaw clenching. "I am in control."
"Are you?" she whispered. "Your instincts tell you to embrace it. To lead not as a man—but as something far more powerful."
Kruger turned away from her, his fists tightening. He could hear the voices again. They whispered in the edges of his mind, urging him forward, promising him dominance beyond mere war.
