Hospital Debauchery Chapter 20

Devon’s eyes narrowed, his grin sharpening into something dangerous as he faced Gregory, who raised a hand to speak. Before Gregory could get another word out, Devon cut him off, his voice low and cold. "And who the fuck are you to question me?" he snapped, his tone slicing through the air like a scalpel.

Gregory’s eyes widened, his face reddening at the audacity, but Robert exploded, his fist swinging toward Devon’s jaw with a snarl. "You bastard!"

In a flash, Devon’s hand shot up, catching Robert’s fist mid-air with a grip like steel, his movement was effortless. With a swift twist, he redirected Robert’s momentum, slamming him to the ground with a thud that echoed down the hall.

Before Robert could recover, Devon planted a polished shoe on his chest, pinning him like a bug, his expression cold and mocking. "Try that again," he said, his voice dripping with disdain, "and you’ll be eating through a straw."

Nurse Carter gasped, her tablet frozen in her hands, while a few nearby staff froze, their jaws dropping at the sight of the scene. Gregory’s face twisted with fury, his voice booming.

"Devon, you’re out of line! You think you can assault a patient’s family in my hospital? I’ll have you suspended for this!" Gregory yelled.

Robert writhed under Devon’s shoe, his face red, cursing wildly. "Get off me, you sick fuck! I heard her moaning your name! You’re done, you hear me? Done!" His voice cracked with desperation, his hands clawing at Devon’s leg, but Devon didn’t budge, his control absolute.

Before the chaos could escalate further, the door to Room 127 creaked open, and Elena stepped out, her hospital gown slightly askew, her face flushed with the afterglow of their escapade, but her hazel eyes sharp and composed. Her presence silenced the hallway, all eyes turning to her. Robert’s face softened with relief, and he struggled harder under Devon’s shoe.

Devon lifted his shoe, stepping back with a casual grace, his eyes flicking to Elena with a subtle, knowing spark. Robert scrambled to his feet, rushing to her, his hands reaching for her shoulders. "Elena, are you okay? What the hell did he do to you?"

Elena shrugged off his touch with a cool detachment, her expression turning icy, like a queen dismissing a bothersome courtier. "Robert, for God’s sake, stop making a fool of yourself," she snapped, her voice cutting through the tension like a knife.

She straightened her gown, smoothing it with steady hands, then turned to address Gregory and the gathered onlookers, her poise unbroken.

"Dr Devon was treating me. The exam was intense, yes, it hurt at first, but he knew exactly what he was doing. The pain’s gone now, completely. I feel better than I have in months, maybe years. You’re all turning this into some scandal when it’s just good care."

Her words carried a double layer, the subtext dripping with heat for those who knew, namely Devon. She glanced at him, her eyes lingering a fraction too long, a flicker of desire hidden behind her composure. Her body still thrummed with the memory of his touch, the way he’d explored her with expert hands, turning agony into ecstasy.

It had been risky, thrilling, and utterly addictive. Robert’s suspicions? They paled in comparison to the fire Devon had ignited within her.

Gregory’s jaw clenched, his fists balling at his sides. "Mrs Kellan, your account is noted, but this doesn’t erase Devon’s behavior. Assaulting a family member? Insubordination? He’s crossed lines that can’t be uncrossed. I’ll be filing a report immediately."

Elena waved a hand dismissively. "File whatever you want, but you’re wasting your time. Dr Devon saved me from years of misery, focus on that instead of drama."

Devon ignored Gregory entirely, his focus locking onto Elena like a laser. He stepped closer, his voice dropping to an intimate timbre that sent a shiver down her spine. "Mrs Kellan, how are you feeling now? Any lingering discomfort?"

Her lips curved into a sultry smile, her voice low and laced with promise. "I feel incredible, Doctor. Absolutely rejuvenated, like every nerve in my body is alive and singing. You’ve got magic in those hands." The words were a coded message, her gaze holding his, ignoring Robert’s stunned, slack-jawed stare beside her.

"Good to hear," Devon replied, his grin widening into something predatory. He reached into his pocket, pulling out a sleek black business card embossed with gold lettering.

As he handed it to her, his fingers brushed hers deliberately, a spark jumping between them like static electricity. "If anything flares up, or if you need a follow-up call me anytime, Elena. Day or night."

She took the card, her fingers lingering on his, tucking it into the fold of her gown with a secretive smile. "I just might do that, Doctor. Thank you... for everything."

Robert stood frozen, his world crumbling in slow motion. His face was a volcanic landscape, red and pulsing, veins throbbing as silent rage consumed him.

He wanted to scream, to lash out, but Elena’s defense had castrated his fury, leaving him impotent and humiliated. His fists trembled at his sides, eyes boring into Devon with murderous intent, but words failed him, the silence a deafening roar.

Devon’s smirk deepened. He adjusted his scrubs again with a flourish. Glancing at Robert’s seething form, he couldn’t resist a soft chuckle. "Chin up, Mr Kellan. You’re a good husband and your wife’s in very good hands."

Devon stepped forward, closing the distance between himself and Gregory with a deliberate, almost mocking swagger. He clapped a hand on the Vice Chief of Staff’s shoulder, the gesture bold and insolent, his grip just firm enough to make Voss stiffen.

"Don’t worry, Gregory," Devon said, his voice low and laced with a taunting edge, "I’ll be keeping in touch. You’ll hear from me soon." His tone dripped with a promise that felt more like a threat, his eyes locking onto Gregory’s with a flicker of amusement, daring him to respond.

Gregory’s lips parted, a retort forming, but Devon was already moving, his hand slipping off Gregory’s shoulder as he turned away. The smirk never left his face as he strode down the hallway, his steps light but commanding, the faint echo of his polished shoes clicking against the linoleum.

Nurses and staff parted instinctively, their eyes trailing him, some with awe, others with unease. Elena watched him go, her fingers tightening around the business card, a subtle flush still lingering on her cheeks
