How I Became Ultra Rich Using a Reconstruction System Chapter 82

Jensen Huang was in LAX aboard his private jet Bombardier Global 7500. He was on the window seat, staring at the airplanes that were taking off from the runway.

Today, he was on his way to the Philippines to personally chat with Timothy Guerrero, as their progress on decoding the chip he had bought from him was making no progress, even despite telling him that it’ll take years to crack.

But Timothy doesn’t know yet that he’ll come, and coming without notification would surely be a surprise to him and may not accommodate him despite him being the CEO of NVIDIA.

Well, good thing his secretary had already emailed Timothy Guerrero and is awaiting reply.

Marcus approached with a phone in hand, his expression tense but controlled. "Sir," he said carefully, "you might want to take this. It’s Timothy Guerrero—he’s on the line."

Jensen immediately straightened in his seat, the dull roar of the engines outside fading beneath the weight of the moment. He reached out, took the phone, and pressed it to his ear.

"Mr. Guerrero," Jensen began, his tone composed but warm. "Good to finally hear your voice again."

"Likewise, Mr. Huang," Timothy replied on the other end, his voice steady and confident. "It’s been a while since our last transaction. How have you been?"

"I’ve been... busy," Jensen said with a short chuckle. "I heard you’ve been busy too. Quite the headlines lately. TG Motors, LithiumX, the Subic gigafactory—it’s impressive work. You’ve built quite the empire in such a short time."

Timothy gave a small laugh. "We’re doing fine, sir. Still a long road ahead, but things are moving faster than I expected."

"I can imagine," Jensen replied. There was a short pause before he added, "Tell me, Timothy—are you in the Philippines right now?"

"I am," Timothy said. "At Subic for now, though I’ll be heading to Manila soon for a few meetings. Why do you ask?"

Jensen leaned back in his seat, smiling faintly. "Because I’ll be in your country by tomorrow morning. Thought I’d drop by for a conversation. Strictly business."

There was a beat of silence before Timothy replied, tone curious but guarded. "Business, huh? Should I be worried?"

"Not at all," Jensen said with a low laugh. "I simply want to discuss something that concerns both of us. I’ll explain more once I land."

"Understood," Timothy said. "Then let’s set a meeting. You’ll be staying in Manila?" Dıscover more novels at 𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭•𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘦•𝘯𝘦𝘵

"Yes. My team’s arranging the logistics now."

"Good," Timothy replied. "I’ll have my office reserve a private suite for our meeting. Solaire Resort, Quezon City branch—less noise, more privacy."

"That sounds perfect," Jensen said. "Send me the time and I’ll be there."

"I’ll see you soon then, Mr. Huang," Timothy replied evenly. "Safe flight."

The call ended. Jensen handed the phone back to Marcus, who was already watching him closely.

"Well?" Marcus asked.

Outside, the jet’s engines began to power up, the Bombardier Global 7500 slowly taxiing onto the runway.

As it prepared for takeoff, Jensen closed his eyes briefly, the faint smile never leaving his face.

"It’s time," he murmured.

April 27th, 2025 – Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila

The late morning sun shimmered over the tarmac as the Bombardier Global 7500 descended smoothly through Manila’s humid sky. Below, the sprawling city stretched endlessly—dense roads, cranes, and ribbons of expressways cutting between the maze of concrete. The jet’s wheels kissed the runway with a low screech, the engines winding down to a soft hum as it taxied toward the VIP hangar at NAIA Terminal 3.

Inside, Jensen Huang removed his sunglasses and glanced out the oval window, taking in the view. "It’s been a while since I set foot here," he murmured. "Manila’s changed."

Marcus stood behind him, checking his tablet. "Sir, immigration and customs have already been cleared in advance. The Department of Trade sent representatives to assist with your arrival, though I told them you preferred to keep it private."

"Good," Jensen said, standing and straightening his jacket. "I didn’t come here for politics. This trip stays between us and Guerrero."

The cabin door hissed open, and a rush of warm air spilled inside. Waiting on the tarmac were several black SUVs, their engines idling, along with a sleek white Airbus H160 helicopter bearing the NVIDIA Executive Operations emblem. A small ground crew stood by, bowing politely as Jensen stepped out of the aircraft, his entourage following close behind.

Marcus briefed him as they walked toward the chopper. "The Solaire Quezon City branch has confirmed your arrival window. We’ll be airborne within ten minutes and touch down at their helipad by noon. Timothy Guerrero’s office has arranged the suite—secured, soundproofed, and off the public floorplan. He’s reportedly still in transit from Subic."

Jensen nodded as he climbed aboard the helicopter. "Efficient as always."

Once inside, the rotors began to spin, blades slicing through the air with the usual rhythmic sound. The cityscape unfolded beneath them—Pasay’s crowded streets giving way to Makati’s glass towers, then to the greenery of Quezon City beyond. From above, Manila looked almost serene, the chaos muted into quiet geometry.

Marcus leaned over the noise-cancelling headset. "Sir, may I ask something?"

"Go ahead," Jensen replied, eyes still on the skyline.

"Why come in person? You could’ve had the meeting over encrypted call, or even had me negotiate. Guerrero’s young, unpredictable. Flying halfway across the Pacific for one man—it’s not your usual move."

Jensen turned to him, his tone measured. "Because I have a business proposal for him. He built something we can’t replicate, and somehow, I believe he can scale it, and chose not to."

The helicopter cut across the city, hovering briefly above the Pasig River before veering northeast.

Marcus checked his tablet again. "Solaire confirms our landing clearance. Guerrero’s convoy has already arrived there."

The chopper began its descent toward Quezon City. Below, the newly built Solaire complex stood out like a jewel of glass and steel amidst the skyline—a luxury business hub wrapped in reflective panels that caught the sunlight in gold streaks.

On the rooftop, security guards lined the helipad, awaiting the descent of the helicopter.
