Kushina, who had just been feeling happy, was startled by their sudden reaction.
"What’s wrong?" she asked instinctively.
Neither of them answered right away. Instead, they exchanged serious looks.
"The power of the Six Paths," Naruto said without hesitation.
His sensory abilities were stronger than Sasuke’s, so he could sense it more clearly.
There was no doubt about it—it was the power of the Six Paths.
And what’s more, it felt eerily similar to Sasuke’s own Six Paths energy, a combination of Yin Power and the Rinnegan’s power.
"That guy did it on purpose," Sasuke muttered, narrowing his eyes.
His sensing ability wasn’t as strong as Naruto’s. For short-range detection, he had the Mangekyou Sharingan, so he was more suited for close observation. Naruto, on the other hand, was the one with wide-range sensory abilities.
But even so, Sasuke still sensed the power of the other person. It was obvious—they had released their power on purpose, making sure Naruto and Sasuke could feel it.
"What a cocky guy," Naruto clicked his tongue in annoyance.
Sasuke shook his head. "The only thing we can be sure of is that he’s not Otsutsuki Urashiki. His Six Paths power isn’t complete, and its nature is very similar to mine. So the real question is—who is he?"
Sasuke couldn’t recall anyone from history.
According to the Sage of Six Paths, the only people in this world with Six Paths power were himself, his two sons, Kurama, and the two of them. No one else should have it.
Kaguya and Hamura’s powers weren’t considered Six Paths power. Six Paths power belonged exclusively to Otsutsuki Hagoromo, the Sage of Six Paths. (Headcanon, since Kishimoto never really explained what Six Paths power actually is.)
"Should we check it out?" Naruto suggested.
"Yeah," Sasuke agreed without hesitation.
The target was clearly either them or Kurama. Either way, they had to go.
Naruto then turned to Kushina, his tone carrying a bit of seriousness. "Mom, Sasuke and I need to step out for a bit."
Without hesitation, Kushina grabbed Naruto’s hand. "I’m coming too."
Naruto was stunned for a second before scratching the back of his head. "It’s fine. The guy’s after me and Sasuke. The two of us are strong enough, we won’t—"
"What does your strength have to do with me?" Kushina cut him off.
"I’m your mother. I’m also Sasuke’s godmother. No matter what kind of enemy we’re facing, it shouldn’t be just you two dealing with it. I’m here, so what, is that guy gonna turn the world upside down?"
Kushina’s hair started floating, and a dark aura rose behind her.
Someone dared to interrupt her time with her son and godson? No way was she letting them off without a beating!
Besides, she was Naruto’s mother. What kind of mom would hide behind her kid while sending him off to fight?
"Let’s go! Let’s see who’s acting so arrogant!" The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. Without another word, Kushina grabbed both Naruto and Sasuke by the hand, pulled them out of the sealing space, grabbed Minato’s special kunai, and sprinted straight out of Roran.
Both Naruto and Sasuke felt a warmth in their hearts.

Sasuke was full of question marks as he got dragged along.
Naruto stared at Kushina’s flowing hair, feeling a little curious about it. But he didn’t dare ask—because right now, Kushina seemed... kinda terrifying.
After running for about ten minutes, they reached the edge of Roran. Beyond this point was the border between the Land of Wind and the Land of Fire.
The Six Paths power they had sensed was coming from here.
The three of them landed on the sand, their gazes immediately locking onto three figures in the distance, standing amidst the endless yellow dunes.
A man in a long coat with a hat?

And a blonde boy who looked like he was questioning his entire existence?
This group of three was a little strange.
Sasuke’s Sharingan spun as he focused on the man in the middle. "The Six Paths power is coming from him."
Before Naruto could say anything, Kurama suddenly shot up inside his mindscape, roaring so loudly that it nearly deafened Naruto.
"WHAT THE HELL?! PINEAPPLE HEAD! PEANUT! SUSANO’O GUY?!"
Naruto was left dazed by the sheer volume. "...Huh?"
But Kurama wasn’t done yet. Practically yelling, he continued,
"I KNEW IT! If that bastard Urashiki showed up here, then of course Susano’o Guy and Pineapple Head would too! But I didn’t expect Peanut to come as well!"
Finally, I can take down that pineapple head myself! Yeah!
Naruto was completely stunned.
Kushina had no idea what was going on. Standing at the front, she immediately turned to the Susanoo-like figure and said, "So you’re the one interrupting my reunion with my son?"
The adult Sasuke looked up with a helpless expression and a hint of awkwardness. "Sorry, Aunt Kushina. I didn’t mean to... It’s just that my memories here were sealed by you, so I had no idea what you were doing."
Hearing him call her that, Kushina froze. She looked at the adult Sasuke with a surprised expression. "Your voice... sounds familiar."
The adult Sasuke chuckled and took off his hood, revealing his face. "I’m Sasuke. Uchiha Sasuke, from about fifty years in the future."
Then, he turned to the completely confused Naruto standing next to Kushina. "Kurama has probably already recognized us, so don’t worry, we don’t mean any harm. We used Six Paths power to bring you here because it wouldn’t be a good idea for us to appear in front of people from this time."
After all, they came from a future far, far ahead.
Kushina was in complete shock. She glanced at the younger Sasuke beside her, then at the older Sasuke in the distance, who had a calm, gentle smile. "You... feel completely different from the Sasuke of this time."
"Well, I’ve been through a lot more than he has," the adult Sasuke said with a light laugh. He then turned to look at his younger self, who was still frozen in confusion. "Seeing my younger self is kind of weird."
Yeah, well, I think it’s weird too! Sasuke screamed internally. His mind was in complete chaos, and he had no idea what to say.
Just then, Sarada spoke up. Her expression was a mix of amusement and something else. "So my dad used to be ? He seems... cuter than the dad I know."
The adult Sasuke sighed. "I’m still your dad, you know."
Boruto still looked like he was questioning reality, but he respectfully bowed to Kushina. "Hello, Grandma."
Kushina was completely dumbfounded. "G-Grandson?!"
Kurama suddenly shouted at the top of his lungs, "Boruto! Live, Boruto! Naruto, let me out right now so I can blast him with a Tailed Beast Bomb!"
