Naruto became the male lead, the princess was the female lead, and Sasuke was the second male lead. Doto Kazahana was edited to appear as a powerful boss introduced much later, while Nadare Roga became the main antagonist.
Jiraiya was portrayed as a powerful master who, for some reason, never made a move easily. Throughout the film, he was either drinking alone under the moonlight, looking melancholic, or watching Naruto and Sasuke with a face full of approval. The editing was on another level.
The story was adapted from real events, using everyone’s real names. It had highs and lows, a proper beginning and end, and a balance of everyday moments and action. The final battle between Naruto and Doto Kazahana, paired with the original dialogue left unchanged by the director, was just... something else.
Especially when Naruto said, "What matters to me isn’t the Land of Snow, it’s Koyuki Kazahana." That line sent chills down his spine.
When he originally said it in battle, he didn’t mean anything by it. But after going through the hands of that "skilled" director, the whole story took on a completely different tone.
How should he put it? It was like watching a classic tale of a hero and a princess—starting with them disliking each other, then gradually understanding one another, and finally being willing to sacrifice their lives for each other. The emotional progression was so smooth, it felt completely natural.
And when the colorful Rasengan appeared, the story, accompanied by the background music, reached an all-time high. The entire theater erupted in excitement.
After all... the three protagonists on screen were people they all knew.
Naruto needed no introduction. Sasuke was the only Uchiha in Konohagakure. And Jiraiya—he was one of the legendary Sannin!
In the end, the movie concluded with Naruto collapsing from exhaustion and Koyuki Kazahana taking over the Land of Snow, following a classic royal ending.
As the credits rolled, Naruto slumped in his seat, completely dumbfounded.
