How Kurama Leads Naruto Astray Chapter 67

Achieving this isn’t hard; after all, Minato and Kushina did it too. The Sage of Six Paths’ chakra is just stronger, so he could reincarnate alongside Ashura and Indra’s chakra.

The very meaning of chakra is to connect people, which is why the Sage of Six Paths can appear in Naruto and Sasuke’s hearts.

Tsk, tsk, tsk, the Sage of Six Paths is impressive. It seems he died thousands of years ago, yet his chakra remains and keeps reincarnating. It just hasn’t influenced the reincarnation like Ashura and Indra’s.

But that’s not important. What matters is that this chakra will activate when it’s supposed to, and neither Naruto nor Kurama can manipulate it.

That guy, the Sage of Six Paths, is actually watching the ninja world this way.

Kurama continuously insulted the Sage of Six Paths in his mind while turning to head in another direction.

He was now going to the Land of Thunder, with a clear goal: to find the Eight-Tails, Gyuki. Gyuki’s strength is similar to Kurama’s; the biggest difference is in their chakra. Besides the tailed beast bomb, Gyuki also knows some other ninjutsu, one of which is the unique technique of tail regeneration that only Gyuki can use.

Gyuki can separate his tail to create a clone, and this clone cannot be broken or disappear. It only returns to its original form upon death, and even the Rinnegan cannot see through this special transformation jutsu.

Aside from chakra amount, this clone is identical to the original.

One more thing: Gyuki can regenerate a severed tail, though the process takes a very long time. So, in a short period, Gyuki can only use this special clone jutsu eight times since he has eight tails.

This tail also serves another purpose: to stay inside the Jinchuriki after the tailed beast is extracted. This ensures that the Jinchuriki does not die after the beast is taken out.

In the original story, three people survived after their tailed beasts were extracted: Gaara, Killer Bee, and Naruto. Gaara had already died but was resurrected. Killer Bee survived thanks to the tail left by the Eight-Tails, while Naruto was immediately sealed with another tailed beast after his was extracted.

Theoretically, only Killer Bee truly survived after losing his tailed beast, and that’s thanks to the Eight-Tails’ unique ninjutsu.

Kurama needed to learn this technique. He had to come out from Naruto’s body while making sure Naruto wouldn’t die. Other than waiting for Naruto to die and then bringing him back to life, this was the only way.

Impossible to learn? No way. They were all tailed beasts. If they didn’t learn, it was because the other tailed beasts didn’t want to. If they did want to learn, most Ninjutsu could be shared among them, except for things like Shukaku’s sealing Magnet Release, which required extra support. After all, not every tailed beast had seals carved on them.

Kurama looked into the distance at the dark forest, which seemed like a giant beast lying on the ground, but Kurama felt no fear.

"Naruto, you’d better keep my secret safe."

In the Land of Thunder, located in the upper right corner of the ninja world map, it was surrounded by mountains and bordered by the sea on three sides, with only one path leading to the ninja continent. However, ninjas could walk and fight on the sea, so attacking wasn’t that difficult.

The Land of Thunder was known as a martial nation, where a person’s status was determined by their combat strength. However, because the land wasn’t rich and the country focused heavily on military might, the Land of Thunder was relatively underdeveloped.

Its economy was only slightly better than that of the Land of Wind, and besides the Land of Fire, its combat strength was the strongest, but its cultural heritage was the least developed.

After about five days of full effort, Kurama arrived in this land, and as soon as he entered the Land of Thunder, he felt Gyuki’s chakra.

It could be said that Gyuki was a perfect Jinchuriki. His chakra was completely unhindered. If Kurama hadn’t been sealed, he could have contacted Gyuki directly in the Land of Fire. Unfortunately, the seal was only half released.

Of course, the focus wasn’t on Kurama but on Gyuki.

In a training area on a high mountain in the Land of Thunder, Killer Bee wielded eight blades, constantly attacking a man in front of him. The man, holding a katana, kept countering. Their fight wasn’t impressive; it was clear that it was just a simple spar.

But suddenly, Killer Bee paused, coming to a stop.

Seeing Killer Bee stop, the man opposite him also halted his blade:

"Yo, not bad," Killer Bee said with his unusual speech. Then, without caring about Omoi’s expression, he turned and entered the sealing space, where he saw Gyuki standing behind him.

Before Killer Bee could say anything, Gyuki spoke first:

"Bee, the Nine-Tails has come to the Land of Thunder."

Killer Bee was about to rap, but he choked on his words, surprise showing in his sunglasses-covered eyes.

"The Nine-Tails is here? Is war coming?"

"Don’t say that just to make it rhyme!" Gyuki shouted in frustration. "I don’t sense any killing intent from that guy. The Nine-Tails probably isn’t here to fight."

From Kurama’s complete lack of hiding his chakra, Gyuki felt that guy was probably here to find him.

Thinking this, Gyuki looked at Killer Bee and said,

"I want to talk to that guy. You should go tell Raikage about this."

"Yeah!" Killer Bee nodded.

"I’ll talk to my brother, and you go to the Nine-Tails. We’re partner!"

Gyuki felt a headache coming on.

After saying that, Gyuki swung Killer Bee out of the sealing space with his tail, finally enjoying some peace.

Gyuki sighed deeply, his gaze seeming to look through the sealing space into the distance.

"Kurama, is your current state... controlling the Jinchuriki?"

On the other side, Kurama, moving through the bushes, suddenly stopped. A silly expression appeared on his usually expressionless face as his chakra slowly swirled, blending with the chakra presence spreading in the Land of Thunder.

In an instant, deep within the tailed beast’s inner world, Kurama’s massive body stood tall in front, and as Gyuki’s chakra blended in, Gyuki’s huge form gradually appeared.

Gyuki looked at Kurama, a smile appearing on his cow-like face.

"Kurama, why is your chakra presence so weak?"

"Tch, half of me got sealed by the Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato. Now, I only have half my chakra left," Kurama said, sitting on the ground with a pout.

"But you, the old brother who used to be so hot-headed, now you’re getting along with your Jinchuriki?"

"I had no choice back then." Gyuki recalled Killer Bee constantly rapping to him, trying to get through to him.

Just thinking about it made him shiver.

"Well, anyway, why did you come to the Land of Thunder? Does Konohagakure let you out?"
