Today is the day that Claudia and her family have been looking forward to the most. In the end, for the first time, Claudia was appointed as the main star at a hotel anniversary party, even though Claudia admitted that she still had a lot to learn to prepare everything.
The invited guests that Claudia invited were also important people from the nobility and she had already selected the names of the guests who would attend. Not only that, Harry also tightened hotel security to prevent intruders. Even Harry had warned the knights to always be alert even though the event was going smoothly.
Before leaving for the hotel, Claudia first did her make-up, assisted by assistants from her family’s residence. Her body was still covered in a bathrobe, her eyes were shining as she stared at an evening gown designed by Taylor which made her addicted.
Meanwhile, Harry also had his appearance made up by the Harperwood family’s mainstay servants. Harry was already wearing a suit designed by Taylor first. However, his gaze was not fixed on the mirror, but he continued to stare at his wife silently even though her appearance was still messy.
"Why do you keep looking at me? Even though I haven’t finished my make-up yet," Claudia protested with a sullen face.
"I’m increasingly curious about whether you really look good in that dress."
"It’s definitely a good fit, there’s no doubt about the results of Taylor’s design."
"Then, how do you think I look now?"
Claudia heard one of Harry’s servants accidentally let out a laugh because his master was being childish. Claudia felt like she wanted to scold her husband for not being able to control his attitude. To be honest, she preferred her husband’s strict attitude like before compared to now. In the past, his attitude was much more perfectionist so that not a single servant dared to mock him.
"Of course you are very handsome, even though your face hasn’t been made up yet."
A few minutes later, after her face had been made up, Claudia’s body was now transformed into an evening gown designed by Taylor. In the room, now only Claudia and Harry, while the servants returned to their respective family residences because they had finished carrying out their duties in the morning.
Finally, Harry’s dream came true, being able to enjoy the stunning view in front of him. His wife looked very radiant wearing an evening dress that matched his color, plus the sweet smile displayed by her wife made her cheeks instantly turn red. It felt like his body was too lazy to move because he was enchanted by his wife’s beauty.

"I told you, if you ask Taylor to design any clothes it will definitely suit me or you. You’re very handsome too, Harry."
Hearing his appearance being praised as handsome, Harry looked down embarrassedly while touching his head. "Thank you, Claudia."
Claudia put on a happy smile while snapping her fingers. "Actually, your appearance is still not perfect. You still remember the gift I wanted to give you, right?"
"I’m still curious now. Actually, what gift do you want to give?"
"Close your eyes!"
Harry immediately closed his eyes. "You want to give me a surprise? What kind of gift is there to be so excited about?"
Claudia took a small wooden box from under the bed, then gave it to Harry. "You can open your eyes now."
Harry opened his eyes again while looking at a wooden box in front of him. "What’s in it?"
"Open it!"
The moment Harry opened this wooden box, the contents were a silver brooch carved with two birds, his eyes were glassy, his right hand took the brooch carefully. "You really gave me this gift?"
Claudia looked down while pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I tried to answer your riddle at that time. You like things that are easy to carry anywhere and you don’t like things that bother you. Besides, you really like birds. That’s why, what I had in mind was to make this pair of birds brooch for you."
Seeing that the tears were flowing more and more freely, Claudia took the initiative to wipe her husband’s soft cheeks with a handkerchief. "You like my gift?"
"I actually really like it." Harry looked at his wife with a happy smile. "Thank you for giving this most beautiful gift."
"Then, I’ll help you put this brooch on your jacket." For a moment, Claudia attached the pair of bird brooches to Harry’s jacket.
"You are smart when it comes to learning about my background, Claudia. Even other people would have a hard time guessing."
"Because you told me before that you really like simple things."
"Actually, I’ve always wanted a brooch with a bird engraving from my mother. But..."
Claudia immediately hugged her husband’s body with great affection. "Now I can grant your wish. Whether you want something simple or luxurious, I will immediately grant your wish."

"I want you to wear this brooch every day. I don’t want you to just wear the defense minister’s emblem brooch on your jacket."
Harry chuckled, fingering the silver brooch his wife had given him. "In fact, I think this pair of birds is me and you."
Claudia didn’t expect that Harry, who was usually strict and a perfectionist, could tease her too. Hearing that simple murmur managed to make her body feel warm.
"By the way, it seems like the baby bird we’ve been looking after all this time has recovered its wings. Will you free it?"
"Of course, I don’t want to see it locked in a cage all the time."
Harry walked quickly towards the living room then approached the birdcage that was hanging near the patio of the back garden. He opened the birdcage wide, letting the baby bird flap its wings and fly around the whole house.
Seeing this baby bird finally able to fly freely, Harry laughed happily and embraced his wife’s shoulder affectionately. "Finally we managed to nurse it back to health."
"You don’t intend to kill it when it grows up, right?"
Harry pursed his lips. "Why would I kill a baby bird that we have worked so hard to care for all this time?"
The baby bird flew towards Harry, then stood on the back of Harry’s left hand. Seeing that the baby bird had become accustomed to him all this time, Harry couldn’t bear to let go of the baby bird which would probably be killed by other hunters who had no conscience. His index finger spontaneously stroked the part of the bird’s wing that had been injured.
"I’m not willing to let you go either. My wife and I will definitely take care of you wholeheartedly until you grow up."
"Harry, don’t forget about the hotel anniversary party later. Moreover, later you will perform."
