Though she called it training, it was more like her one-sided venting. But strangely, while her attacks were fierce, she always avoided vital points.
Time passed . This day, Kafka called you all to the meeting room.
"I have a mission for you," she said, elegantly crossing her legs.
"A mission?" Firefly's eyes lit up. "Finally, a mission!"
"Hmm, to foster the relationship between newcomers," Kafka glanced at you, a slight smile on her lips. "I've decided to partner the two of you for a beginner-friendly mission."
"What?!" Firefly jumped up. "Why do I have to go with him!"
"Oh? Do you have an issue with him?"
"He… No, not at all…" Under Kafka's smiling gaze, Firefly deflated.
"May I ask, what exactly is the mission?" you raised your hand.

You paused. You knew Stellarons were entities called the "Cancer of All Worlds." "Wait, we're Stellaron Hunters, right? So, our goal is to acquire Stellarons?"
Firefly looked at you as if you were an idiot. "You just found out?"
"He's new, it's normal for him not to know," Kafka interjected, then looked at you. "You're right. As the name suggests, we are a group who hunt Stellarons. But don't think too much about that for now." She stood up and walked over, gently patting your face. "If you complete the mission, there'll be a reward."
"It's a secret." She winked, then turned and left. "The script has been sent to your terminals. Prepare well."
Only you and Firefly remained.
"Orion," her expression turned serious. "Stellarons are really dangerous… When the time comes, stick close to me, understand?"
It was the first time she had spoken to you with such a serious and gentle expression. "Understood," you nodded.
"Good then," she stood up, reverting to her usual self. "Let's go check the script."
Watching her brisk departure, a warmth surged in your heart. Although she was always fierce towards you, she was actually quite caring.
Soon, the mission began. Outside the ship's viewport was a beautiful blue planet.
"Look, what a beautiful planet," Kafka's voice sounded beside you. "This is our next stage. The locals call it 'Earth'."
"According to Elio's script, the Stellaron we're looking for is currently lurking on this planet, disguised as a wishing device called the 'Holy Grail,' located in a coastal city called 'Fuyuki City'."
"The Holy Grail?" Firefly leaned closer curiously. "The legendary item that can grant any wish?"
"Yes, but this one is a fake, parasitized by a Stellaron," Kafka replied. "The script shows that the 'Holy Grail' has not yet fully manifested; it requires a bloody ritual called the 'Holy Grail War' to descend. Our mission is to intervene in the war and then—" she made a snatching motion, "—recover the Stellaron."
"Before that…" Kafka swiped in the air, and two student ID photos appeared. "…You need to infiltrate the local academy first and wait for the 'Holy Grail War' to begin."
