Huh? Isn't This A Galgame? Chapter 507

Chapter 507: Chapter 372: The Last Straw

...Hidden tycoon?

...Chase wife crematorium?

...Run with the ball?

Jun Beibei looked at Yu Xiaoluo with a bewildered face, not understanding what the other was talking about. After a moment of silence, she closed the lid of the metal box, shook her head coldly,

"Yu Xiaoluo, read less of those brainless novels."

After saying this, Jun Beibei picked up the metal box, stood up, glanced at Yu Xiaoluo, thought for a moment, and decided to tell her: "Xiaoluo, I am leaving, leaving this place."

Yu Xiaoluo sensed the seriousness in the atmosphere. Looking at her, she put away her playful expression and asked, "Will we, in the future, be able to meet again?"

Jun Beibei fell into silence for a while.

This whole world was about to fall apart soon, of course, they wouldn’t have the chance to meet again.

But such words, Jun Beibei ultimately didn’t say out loud. She just nodded, "Mm."

Yu Xiaoluo was stunned for a moment and then squeezed out a somewhat reluctant smile, "That’s great."

After speaking, she crawled under the bed, extended her tentacle, and began rummaging inside with effort, "By the way, there’s something I’ve always wanted to give you."

Jun Beibei lifted her gaze and saw Yu Xiaoluo pulling out a box hidden deep under the bed, opening it, and finding a box hidden at the bottom, "Found it, this, here, for you."

She pulled out a small knife from the box and stuffed it into Jun Beibei’s hand.

Jun Beibei lowered her eyes and saw it was a fruit knife, with a gemstone inlaid on the handle, the golden light of the gemstone floated and coated the blade with a layer of light gold.

Yu Xiaoluo extended her cold tentacle, tightly grasping Jun Beibei’s skirt hem, saying:

"If you must go, go far away, never return, I can’t help you much, but if you encounter obstacles on the road, use this sharp blade to cut through all hurdles."

Jun Beibei stared blankly at the golden light floating on the blade in her hand, looking for a long time, then nodded heavily,

"Thank you, Xiaoluo."

After saying that, she extended her skirt hem, and hugged tight the hard shell on Yu Xiaoluo which carried the Fibonacci Spiral.

Yu Xiaoluo extended her tentacle and patted her skirt hem, "Hurry and go, don’t dawdle, after a while if your mom comes over, to take away her grandson, you can forget about running with the ball."

She started talking nonsense again.

Jun Beibei let her go, smiled, picked up the freezer box, and turned to leave the dormitory.

...

...

Wen Nan was standing under the girls’ dormitory building, somewhat bashfully bowing his head, playing with the small spine on his body.

For some reason, after staying in this campus for a long time, he seemed to have absorbed some of the greenness of student days, always feeling that standing at such a place now, where the scent of girls’ body wash and laundry detergent permeates, was utterly uncomfortable.

Even though he worried that the Arctic Clam, full of flags, might be in danger, Wen Nan didn’t dare to look up at the dorm window where the other party was, for fear of seeing something he shouldn’t—though everyone was seafood, there seemed to be nothing really inappropriate to see.

A few girls had just finished their study session, and as they walked together towards the dormitory, their whispering voices entered Wen Nan’s ears:

"Hehe, who is that, something’s up?"

"Whose family is he from, waiting for his girlfriend?"

"Quite handsome, huh."

"A bit weird, why does he feel different from us?"

"I feel like you’re quoting that classic line, that one...you look at that person, so weird, like a dog."

As they chatted, a scallop suddenly, with a soft voice, shouted in Wen Nan’s direction:

"Supreme Treasure, did you come riding on the colorful cloud to pick up Zixia?"

"Wow, you’re really daring to say that."

"Hehe."

"Hehehe."

"Hehehehe."

A burst of laughter echoed through the air, like the sounds of crickets in a summer field.

Wen Nan lifted his head, looking towards the group of girls, tilting his head slightly with a hint of inquisitive expression in his eyes.

Always feeling...is there something not quite right?

What exactly is...so incongruous?

Just as he was lost in thought, a tap on his shoulder, unbeknownst to whose hand it was.

Wen Nan turned around, seeing a shell shining white in the night light. After patting Wen Nan, it whispered "Ye Shenshen," then turned, buried its head, and quickly walked away from the entrance of the girls’ dormitory.

The movement of the skirt hem was as rapid as a tank’s treads advancing at full speed, seemingly afraid that walking a bit slower would make her the talk of the entire seafood dorm.

Wen Nan turned around, quickly caught up.

A sea cucumber and an Arctic Clam, walked side by side under the night, soon arriving at a flower bed devoid of seafood.

By the dim light, Jun Beibei turned around, looked at Wen Nan, and said, "I am ready, let’s—"

Crack!

Halfway through her sentence, the lid of the metal box in her hand was suddenly pried open from inside.

Then, a purely white Sea Gourd jumped out, bouncing like a ball on the concrete ground, rushing to Wen Nan’s feet, "Father! Father! I finally found you! Father!"

Wen Nan was stunned for a moment, looked down, and saw the Sea Gourd continually bumping against his ankle, with two small bean-like eyes protruding from its head, staring at him.

This thing...why does it seem so familiar?

"...A vacuum cleaner robot?"

The Sea Gourd didn’t understand what a "vacuum cleaner robot" was, continuing to speak on its own: "Father, I am your long-lost illegitimate child! Me and mother..."

Halfway through the Sea Gourd’s sentence, Jun Beibei picked it up, turned it upside down, pressed a few buttons at the bottom, and the Sea Gourd immediately withered, no longer screaming and yelling.

Jun Beibei heaved a sigh of relief, looked up, and explained to Wen Nan: "Apologies, this was my project for a global youth robotics competition one time, its chip had a little problem, recently... it just loves spouting nonsense."
