Menchi lies on the sofa. "Yeah!"
"What are you two doing? Comparing yourselves to a monster? I’m curious what the Hunter Association will become."
Satotz has many opinions about the current Hunter Association, but there’s nothing he can do. Loki’s appearance might bring revolutionary changes. He’s already anticipating them.
Killua runs quickly through the ship, worried about Gon after the shaking. He heads toward the gym. He turns a corner and sees familiar figures.
"Gon! Loki! Are you okay?"
Killua checks on Gon, who has minor injuries but is fine.
Gon rubs his head. "I’m fine. It was an accident during the game with Chairman Netero. He seemed to lose control of his power."
That’s a lie, Killua thinks. He knows Netero’s abilities. It’s impossible that he lost control because of them. Something unexpected must have happened. It wasn’t Gon. It was Loki.
Killua glances at Loki, who’s unharmed.
"How did the game go?" Killua asks, staring at Loki.
"Fine. I won," Loki says calmly.
"Really?!" Gon jumps up. "Loki won? He doesn’t need the other trials?"
"Yeah, probably. The Hunter Association Chairman wouldn’t break his word."
"Amazing!" Gon smiles.
Killua stares at Loki, dumbfounded. He couldn’t beat Netero, but Loki did!
Killua turns away, unwilling to admit Loki is stronger.
Loki senses Killua’s thoughts and is surprised, but it’s not the time to focus on that.
"Gon, rest. The third trial is next. I can’t participate. Do your best. You’ll become Hunters."
Gon nods. Killua turns away. Loki leaves to rest.
His mission is complete! The Hunter Exam mission is marked as complete, confirmed by Netero. What’s the reward?
The ship has limited rooms; most examinees sleep in the main hall. Loki, having been granted Hunter status and accepted as a student by Netero, has a private room.
In his room, Loki opens the system.
’Congratulations, host! You completed the Hunter Exam early. Reward doubled!’
’Congratulations, host! You’ve obtained the A-rank item: Gin’s Zanpakutō: Shinsō, from the Bleach world.’
’Extraction successful.’
This is a great A-rank reward. He doesn’t know how powerful Shinsō will be in this world, but it won’t be weak.
Loki opens his inventory, expecting to see the Zanpakutō, but it’s not there.
"What happened? Where’s my Shinsō?"
Nen surges from Loki. Before him, a short sword appears instantly. A round hilt, a blade gleaming with a cold aura.
"This is... a Conjuration-type ability?"
Holding Shinsō, it feels like an extension of his body. He aims it at a bottle on his bookshelf.
The bottle shatters instantly. The speed is faster than a bullet. The moment he spoke, Shinsō struck its target. It returned quickly. The attack power is strong. Loki feels a small Nen depletion.
"It’s become my Conjuration-type ability! The item became an ability."
He dismisses Shinsō, then summons it again.
"This is more convenient for combat."
He wonders about a Bankai. Would it enhance his Nen? Maybe. But not now. The ship can’t handle another Nen blast.

A scabbard appears. He sheathes Shinigami, hiding it under his cloak. This makes it seem like a normal weapon, not a conjured item. Anyone who underestimates it will die.
After examining Shinsō Loki opens his system. A new mission appears. The next mission appears after completing the Hunter Exam. This is like a main quest.
The next mission is: ’Heaven Arena Battle: Achieve ten consecutive victories on the 200th floor.’ The reward is one B-rank lottery.
Loki notices the main mission seems to follow the plot. He doesn’t understand why. Tired, he goes to sleep.
The ship arrives at the third trial location: the Trick Tower. Loki bids farewell to Gon and the others.
"Why? Are you giving up?"
