Netero’s gaze sharpened. He suddenly lunged at Loki.
"So, you finally want to kill me!"
Loki raised his blade to meet the attack.
As Netero’s fist collided with Shinsō, a shower of sparks erupted. The impact sent flames surging towards Netero, while Netero’s Nen fiercely countered the flames. An invisible shockwave exploded beneath them, instantly spreading outside, causing the entire floor to collapse.
Loki and Netero fell together. Even as they plummeted, Netero continued his assault, raining down blows with incredible speed. Loki, wielding Shinsō, deflected every attack.
Each impact sent violent tremors through the blade, and Loki’s hands began to numb.
Clang! Clang! Clang! In mere seconds, nearly a hundred blows were exchanged.
Their fight continued as they fell, the terrifying Nen clashes exceeding the building’s structural limits.
Before they even hit the ground, the shockwaves shattered surrounding walls and floors. They finally landed on the ground floor.
Netero’s fist struck Loki’s shoulder first, sending him flying out of the Hunter Association building and into the plaza.
Loki slid across the ground, quickly planting Shinsō to halt his momentum. After sliding tens of meters, leaving a long trail of dust, he finally came to a stop.
Loki looked up towards the Hunter Association building. The once magnificent structure was now a shattered ruin, teetering precariously.
Flames still licked at the roof, and almost all the exterior glass was gone. It looked like an abandoned building.
Loki’s sudden appearance stunned the crowd in the plaza. As the dust settled, a figure engulfed in flames appeared before them, surrounded by a terrifying aura that extended five or six meters.
"That’s the one who attacked the Hunter Association!"
"That’s Loki, the top-priority fugitive!"
At the Association’s entrance, Netero emerged from the still-smoking building.
"Chairman! Chairman Netero!"
"That battle... was it the Chairman and that kid?"
"The Chairman fought! No wonder there was such a commotion. Thank goodness, we’re safe now."
The crowd was relieved, but the Zodiac members looked grave. Despite Netero’s attack, Loki appeared unharmed.
The sheer scale of the battle was terrifying. Yet, the flaming figure before them emanated an aura as powerful as Netero’s.

Suddenly, Loki moved. Boom! A violent airburst echoed across the plaza before his figure even fully moved. Cheadle’s eyes widened.
Whoosh! A dazzling flash of blade sliced towards Netero. Netero sidestepped, glaring at Loki.
The crescent-shaped slash tore across the ground, heading towards the Hunter Association building, slicing straight through it.
Silence descended. Everyone stared at the point where the slash had vanished – a perfectly clean cut bisecting the building. If the other half hadn’t held, the building would have collapsed.
Such a terrifying attack, unleashed with a casual swing. Neither Loki nor Netero seemed fazed by the power displayed, but to everyone else, it was utterly terrifying.
Cheadle stared, a chill running down her spine. ’If that attack had been even stronger... that kid... could have cut the entire building in half with a single blow.’ The thought chilled her to the bone.
She wanted to deny it, but the clean cut made her believe it was entirely possible. Loki could, if he chose, sever a building with a single strike.
The other three Zodiac members beside Cheadle remained silent, their eyes glued to the cut, unable to look away, their expressions shifting from terror to a stunned numbness.
They were speechless, unable to articulate what they had just witnessed.
That small blade had unleashed such power.
The terrifying aspect wasn’t the blade, but Loki’s unbelievably powerful Nen.
But Netero saw it differently. Loki’s Nen was undeniably powerful, but the blade itself was extraordinary.
From their repeated clashes, Netero sensed its exceptional sharpness and resilience.
