ANONYMOUS POV
"I meant, my request that I asked you last time," he said.
I rolled my eyes. "You know our deal," I reminded him. "You give me the information I want on Keith and I keep your little secret safe."
"But—" he started.
Before he could say anything else I cut the phone call. As put the phone down on the table. My gaze followed the man who entered with a folder in his arms.
"Sir, here are the documents I collected from the apartment in Kensington that you requested," be said as he placed them on the table in front of me.
"You got everything?" I asked him.
"Yes sir," he answered.
I scoffed as I looked down at the folder.
To think she would go to Kensington herself. She sure has been on a roll lately, hasn’t she? If I wasn’t keeping an eye on her she might have actually gotten me.
I then dismissed the man and he left the room.
Most of the papers were just some old accounting papers I had been looking through on the rare occasions I went to that apartment. There was nothing too revealing in them, not unless you knew what they were connected too. However, just to be sure I had someone get anything I may have left behind in the apartment.
"Ms Towers is a threat, sir. She is now aware of your involvement we should take of her now before she poses anymore threats," my aide and bodyguard who stood close behind the couch I sat on.
"No, we can’t act rashly she’s with one of the Carrington sons who’s protecting her. it’s too risky." I told him. With my plan on the line I didn’t want take any chances.
My plan had been to control everything from behind the scenes, Jasmine was never supposed to know anything. Only that Diana had returned to Keith’s life and kicked her out of the picture. She was supposed to quietly fall in the background. Now my long-term plan for her was completely ruined. I had intended to get rid of her and her son in the future. Certainly before her son turned 18.
I wanted to do it cleanly where there would be no one who cared about her or find the situation suspicious. I really thought she was alone and had no one yet she had completely turned her situation around and had found her own powerful backer.
Now she was digging into things and snooping around. I should have expected this though, she was the only person who knew something was amiss who I wasn’t working with. If she relayed what she’d uncovered to Keith then everything might fall apart.
I then let out a belting laugh at the situation. I went on and on as I lost myself in amusement. My aide watched me with a concerned expression.
"Sir?" he asked confused by what I found funny, but what wasn’t funny? It seems I underestimated you, Jasmine. I thought once Keith threw you out, I would never have to worry about you.
"How interesting! Fair play to you Jasmine!" I then said."I want you to clean up and erase any information that might be traced back to me." I ordered my aide.
"Yes sir," he accepted my order.
"That should buy me some time as I re-strategized," I said. I couldn’t stop Jasmine from investigating for now but I can control what she finds out. If Jasmine wanted to play then I would entertain it. I’m sure her and the Carrington were probably looking into the apartment in Kensington had to make sure nothing.
However, I did plan to deal with her. I had to figure out how I would do it as her Carrington man was my biggest obstacle. Or perhaps there was another way I could go about this entirely.
I brought my hand to my chin as I contemplated. My goal was Keith at the end of the day. I had spent years meticulously planning, infiltrating and getting close to everyone who was close to him, using them to meet my goals. Everything, to reach my goal.
What he was interested in, is what I was interested in. It’s why I went after Diana in the first place. If it’s Jasmine he wanted now—well— I might have to pivot. I had given Diana one last idea to get Keith’s interest back. It’ll be interesting to see how this turned out in the end.
And even then—Jasmine was still going to be snooping around. I planned to desk with her but If she ended up getting too close to uncovering things, I would have to make ’decisions’ to protect my plan.
Then a wide smile appeared on my face as an idea came to mind. Depending on Keith’s choice I would execute one of two ideas. Well, then may the best woman win.

JASMINE’S POV
My arms and legs were feeling sore as sat at the desk in my office. That Freeman coach really tried to kill me yesterday. I couldn’t believe I had to return there again twice every week.
But I had to do it I thought to myself. If I wanted to better prepared to defend myself if I had to.
On Saturday in Diana’s apartment I could have apprehended the perpetrator had my fighting skills been better. Then I could have taken the folder he had run off with. All I could do was dodge his punch in the end.
I still couldn’t process the information Louis and I were slowly uncovering.
Louis was really the MVP. He was literally my saviour. I had found out so much information due to his help. I doubt I would have figured out there was a possible third party involved in all this if it weren’t for him.
Having someone to really was useful I thought to myself recalling how reluctant I was to ask for help in the past.
And not only that, probably the fact he was a Carrington was what was protecting me from being openly attacked by whoever the people behind Diana were.
