Yu Jingting faced the fury of Granny Fan, unconcerned and even somewhat dismissive.
He was not in a hurry, there were others more anxious than him.
The two distinguished women sitting next to Granny Fan were calming her down, their eyes signalling her to remain calm.

Yu Jingting swept his eyes across each of them, making whoever his gaze landed on feel nervous.
"We already know what happened. We know who among you did it."
"Third Sister, quickly apologize to the kid, don’t make things ugly," the Second Wife tried to mediate.
"Why should I apologize?" Granny Fan insisted, stubbornly.
"Today is the happy day of my mother-in-law. For her sake, someone among you owes our family a debt, we shall handle it later," said Yu Jingting as he finished his drink. He put down the glass and even managed to say, enjoy your food and drink, the smile not reaching his eyes.
After Yu Jingting left, silence lingered at the table for a while. These elderly ladies had encountered countless storms, but never had anyone dared to talk to them in such tone at these events.
"He’s tough..." Fan Yun had witnessed the high energy performance of Jingting and his wife, and this was the only description she had for her uncle’s son-in-law and daughter.
Seeing children who grew up in such a family familiar with power struggles and who daringly confront them was new to her.

This room was prepared by her in advance, with two chairs and a table. On the table was a pot of brewed tea.
Suizi poured the tea for Mrs. Fan, the water was neither hot nor cold, just right.

Mrs. Fan realized that she had a slip of the tongue and immediately stood up to leave.

"Are you threatening me?! You go call Fan Huang for me, I’m not talking to you."

Mrs. Fan had been arrogant for a lifetime, and never thought she would be cornered in her old age by a young girl. Though she felt like resisting, she could not deny the truth of Suizi’s words.
Fan Huang is a person who won’t tolerate a speck of sand in his eye, if he knew what she had done, he’d rather quit his job than not turn her in.
"What do you want in the end?" Mrs. Fan looked at Suizi, somewhat pleadingly. Her words lost the firmness they had before.
