My last words weren’t my last words... again.
Someone literally dropped from the sky—like a horny pilot who saw a grand canyon and shoved the entire aeroplane inside it—and introduced himself as my plot armor. Which is understandable, I am the MC, if I didn’t have plot armor people would not call me MC, they’ll call me MF.
The golden Being was bright but I could make out his appearance a little. He had long black hair reaching till his waist and he was tall. He had red shoes on and on his hand, a golden trident shone like a weapon built for destruction.
His entry had sent Malthus flying away and many of his soldiers died just by the impact of his entry, the lucky were those who also flew away like Malthus by the impact.
I was lying beside him in an upside down U and my head tilted to my right. I know I have described my position for too many times now but being a comedian, I tend to repeat saying things for better understanding.
"What is your name?" I asked. "And who are you really?"
"You already know me, Racis."
"I do? The last I checked, I haven’t met a man who looked like a child’s school project covered entirely in glitter to hide the fact that his project has nothing else."
"You know me. Just believe me."
"At least drop a hint, man. And look at me while talking. Don’t show your back to me." ɴᴇᴡ ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀʀᴇ ᴘᴜʙʟɪsʜᴇᴅ ᴏɴ N0velFire.ɴet
The man didn’t turned to face me but he did dropped a hint:
"I am the reason you are in this situation right now. Now you get it?"
"Are you... Are you..."
My lips trembled. It couldn’t be.
"Are you Malthus’ grandfather?!"
"Yes. Wha—No! The hell? How can you even think like that?"
"I always think out of the box."
"You broke the whole box."
"Then who the fuck are you?"
The man clenched his fist.
He finally turned and faced me.
"I am the Supreme Man! The God of this world!"
So he is the Supreme Man.
"You bastard of a God!" I barked. "You told me this world is only filled with Aliens. But then this super villain straight out of Marvel appeared in the sky and started wrecking havoc. He killed Erect, Sexis and I have been saying my last words for the past three Chapters! He ruined my privacy by showing my internal organs to the whole world. And then you dropped out of the sky like a two dollar Tom Cruise and declared you are my plot armor? Fuck you. What else is left to armor? Everyone saw everything of me and if you could do something from the start then why the hell did you waited for me to be completely humiliated like a pornstar featuring in the slave genre??"
The Supreme Man blinked.
The common populace went silent.
I couldn’t see the exact face of the Supreme Man but judging by his height and aura, he must be handsome.
But to hell with his features, I don’t know when I would get to see him again so I vented everything out.
And now everyone waited for the God’s reply.
"So you are happy to see me. I am glad."
"... How did yo—Yeah. I am happy to see you. Now do something, Malthus would be coming here anytime now. It’s all on you. I don’t know how long I can stay conscious, but I’ll try to watch you fight till the end."
"Yeah. You just rest, Racis. I am a God for a reason. I’ll take it from here."
The Supreme Man turned his head away from me and now he wasn’t beside me anymore. Now he stood just in front of my feet.
If Malthus came to kill me, he would first have to deal with Supreme Man and that won’t be easy for him. Because a real God is a real God. And someone that handsome always wins.
Just like me, the people were also in awe of the Supreme Man as for the first time, they were seeing their God in flesh.
"He is just like how I imagined!"
"Dad, give me money!"
"What for, Riley? Wait—you are outside again? Hmm? Ghost is not with you this time. Good."
"Just give me money, dad. The money that Ghost returned to you."
"Why do you want it?"
"I will give it to the Supreme Man and ask him to lay his hands on me."
"The hell? I am not giving you money for that!"
"Why?! Won’t you be happy that I impressed a God?"
"Then why are you not giving me money!?"
"Because I will give it to Supreme Man and get fucked instead!"
It runs in the family it seems. The man was scolding his daughter about this very thing and now look at him, getting ready to get down with a God. Heck, Supreme Man will accept it considering how he was ready to have a go at me if I managed to defeat Malthus. Good thing, I didn’t win.
And If I managed to stay alive, I am meeting this Riley girl. If she even appeared to be a little bit human female with necessary body parts, I am doing it free of cost.
Talking about being alive, now that Supreme Man is here, I can ask him to heal me.
"Hey, God. Now that you are here, can you heal my open chest? I don’t want to be the reason for people getting better at understanding human anatomy."
"Not yet, Racis. This fight is more important."
"What? Malthus could literally pull my heart if he reached ten steps near me. He had even placed his hand on my heart three times now. I do like people who touch my heart but that’s just taking it too extreme."
"Wait a little more. I will make sure Malthus ends today."
"And then you will heal me?"
"No. Then I’ll take money from Riley’s father and fulfill his desire. A God always listens to his believer."
