At the bank, in a senior office, Vera Wave was stopped outside the door by the manager’s assistant.
The assistant wore a polite smile, "Miss, you really can’t go in."
"I just called Uncle Robert; if you go in and tell him I’m Vera, he’ll understand." Vera smiled politely, "Please, I really have an urgent matter."

"No need, no need, don’t bother." Vera quickly declined, "I’m not thirsty. I’m here this time for an urgent matter, otherwise, I definitely wouldn’t be so presumptuous to come looking for you."
Robert Taylor motioned for her to sit on the sofa, "I know, you’re here for that financial matter, right?"
