"Tailed Beasts?"
Sasuke encountered another gap in his knowledge.
"There are nine chakra monsters in the world, each with a different number of tails, collectively known as Tailed Beasts. The First Hokage captured them and distributed them among the major ninja villages."
Kaito patiently explained, "Konoha possesses the "strongest" of the Tailed Beasts, the Nine-Tailed Fox. The major ninja villages consider the Tailed Beasts as their most important wartime assets, sealing them inside ninjas. These ninjas who have a Tailed Beast sealed within them are called Jinchūriki."
Sasuke was surprised by this revelation, understanding things he hadn’t before.
"So that power inside Naruto, and Gaara of the Sand, they are Jinchūriki?"
"Is that your teammate called Naruto Uzumaki?" Kaito asked, somewhat surprised.
Sasuke nodded, "During our fight, he was suddenly enveloped in red chakra and became very strong."
"The Uzumaki clan? Indeed, they are suited to be Jinchūriki. What does he look like?"
A strange question, Sasuke thought, but still answered, "Blond hair, blue eyes, kind of goofy."
Curiously asking, "Isn’t Naruto an orphan? Does his surname carry some significance?"
Kaito laughed.
"My guess was right, that kid is probably the Fourth Hokage’s son. As for Uzumaki, it was a clan second only to the Senju and Uchiha. Both the First and Fourth’s wives were Uzumaki, and they were Nine-Tails Jinchūriki."
Sasuke was stunned.
"How is it possible? That dead last is the Fourth’s son?"
"Let’s continue with the previous topic."
Kaito didn’t elaborate further on this issue but continued, "From what I know about our clan, with tensions escalating with the village and being moved to a remote location, many must have been unable to bear it, so there’s only one possibility."
He stared into Sasuke’s eyes, assertively saying, "They were likely planning a coup."
"The atmosphere in the clan was indeed tense at that time, and my father frequently convened clan meetings."
Sasuke also remembered many details he had previously overlooked.
"So, the next thing is that the Uchiha’s plan to launch a coup must have been known to the Konoha leadership. They were surely worried that a large-scale conflict would weaken the village’s strength. And Itachi, who was in the Anbu at the time, became the perfect candidate to solve the Uchiha problem."
"Itachi was intelligent from a young age, always thinking. Although, in my view, that was actually looking for trouble, but your father always took pride in it. I had told your father that it wasn’t right to take such a small child to the battlefield, but he wouldn’t listen. Early exposure to war ultimately had a great impact on him."
"The conflict between the Uchiha and Konoha would definitely lead to war, and no matter who won afterward, Konoha would be weakened. If other villages found out about this situation, an even larger scale war might come. He must have thought this way."
"To avoid war, the most extreme measure was taken. With the Uchiha clan’s extermination, the conflict no longer existed."
"And your father was not someone who wanted to start a war. But as the clan leader, he couldn’t ignore the voices of the clan members. So when Itachi made his choice, he just went along with it."
"As for leaving you behind, it must have been a deal between Itachi and the Konoha leadership. Considering what he said to you, it’s clear he wanted you to grow up with hatred, eventually preparing to die by your hand, to vindicate the Uchiha."

"An immature child, yet possessing great power, likes to think alone, and doesn’t choose to communicate with his family, ending up like this... How arrogant, Itachi."
As Kaito continued his story, Sasuke was already in tears.
He knew Kaito’s guesses were probably very close to the truth, largely accurate.
He also had his own judgment; it was just due to unequal information that he was kept in the dark. Now, connecting everything together, he had enough to draw his conclusions.
The hatred in his heart suddenly collapsed, leaving only a surge of anger.
’Damn it! If it weren’t for this suddenly appearing uncle, I would have continued to live in lies!’
Did my dad and mom willingly die at Itachi’s hands... Even so... Even so...
"Itachi... that bastard... I will not forgive him!"
"Do you want to kill him?"
Kaito had already seen the change in Sasuke’s mindset.
"Of course... it is... to severely... teach him a lesson! He must... must regret everything he’s done!"
"You’re far from being able to teach him a lesson. Why don’t you leave this matter to me?" Kaito said teasingly.
"No need for you to act!"
Sasuke stubbornly spoke, "Hey! Since you won’t let me go to Orochimaru, then you take responsibility for training me!"
"Hm?"
Kaito pretended to be ponderous.
"Train you, huh? No problem. But, what should you call me? You can’t just say ’hey’ to me, little Sasuke."
After hearing this, Sasuke hesitated for a moment before softly calling out.
"Uncle."
"Hm? I didn’t hear you."
"Uncle! Please teach me how to train!"
Sasuke’s face turned red as he shouted loudly.
"Alright! Alright! No problem. But you’re also tired today."
As Kaito spoke, he conjured up two sets of bedding out of thin air, placing them on the ground, then handed Sasuke a set of clothes.
"For now, change out of those tattered clothes and rest well. We’ll talk more tomorrow."
Sasuke didn’t hesitate, looking at his own shirt, which had two large holes in the back from where wings had sprouted due to the curse mark state, took the clothes and changed, then laid down.
Kaito then got up to arrange something at the cave’s entrance before lying down as well.
Soon after, he heard a soft goodnight from beside him.
"Goodnight, Sasuke."
Although a bit awkward, he’s still a polite kid.
Meanwhile, since Sasuke didn’t return, Orochimaru had no choice but to complete the transfer into the body of a youth named Gen’yūmaru as a new vessel.
"Where on earth did Sasuke-kun go, Kabuto?"
Orochimaru’s raspy voice carried a simple question, but his eyes were incredibly cold.
"My deepest apologies, Lord Orochimaru."
Kabuto respectfully bowed his head in apology, then pushed up his glasses.
"There were no signs of a fight at the scene. Sasuke-kun must have been taken away by someone he knew or couldn’t resist. Unfortunately, the person who took Sasuke was very cautious, leaving no clues behind. There’s also been no word from Konoha."
"Not Konoha, then who could it be? Someone daring to take away my Sasuke-kun, maybe Itachi Uchiha, perhaps."
Orochimaru had already adapted to the new body, his aura rapidly strengthening.
"Regardless of who it is, continue searching for clues about Sasuke-kun, Kabuto."
"Yes."
Kabuto smiled harmlessly, suggesting, "Shall we leak this information to Konoha, Lord Orochimaru?"
"Oh? You’re really something, Kabuto."
Orochimaru also smiled.
"Heh heh, let them join in the search for Sasuke-kun too."
Then he licked his lips with his long tongue.
"I will have you, Sasuke-kun, heh heh heh."
