Sun Zimei and the others were still in a daze.
“What on earth is going on?”
Sun Zimei looked at the storage ring in his hand, his face was not happy at all, only filled with doubts.
There must be a reason for these people to bring gifts.
It couldn’t be that they were simply trying to curry favor with them for no reason.

The subordinate said tremblingly.
He had been guarding the gate for so many years and had never seen so many sects gathered together.
“Another fifty sects?”

But it also made them even more uneasy.
Just after thirty sects had left, now another fifty had arrived, yet they still had no idea what was happening.
But they couldn’t afford to think too much, as there were still fifty elders waiting outside.
One or two they might be able to offend.
But fifty of them? They dared not to be negligent.
Everyone quickly hurried outside to greet them.
As soon as they reached the mountain gate, Sun Zimei, accompanied by the other elders, was about to greet them.

The others chimed in as well.

“Elder Sun, saying that is just not right!”
Hearing Sun Zimei’s words, the fifty elders looked at him with reproachful gazes.
“Exactly, exactly, being humble is understandable, but you’re taking it a bit too far!”
“And to say we don’t deserve it, that only makes us feel ashamed…”
