Yi Feng took a step back, eyeing her warily.
"Master, what I mean is, can you take me along when you hunt? I'll just watch from the side, and maybe you can let me kill just one," Su Yu'er said earnestly, holding up a finger.
If she gave it her all, she might be able to take down one demon.
As long as she killed one while following the master, they would be accomplices.

"Wait, didn't you say you wanted to buy those beads, as many as you could get?" Yi Feng extended his hand. "Show me the money!"
"Money isn't a problem, but you have so many here. I don't have that many Celestial Crystals on hand. Can I pay you in installments?" Su Yu'er asked.
Yi Feng stroked his chin.

"That's acceptable, but I'll need a deposit," Yi Feng said seriously. "And no refunds if you back out."

"Master, can you agree to my earlier request?" Su Yu'er asked hopefully again. "Just let me follow you."
Yi Feng refused outright.
"Ah, don't worry, I'll definitely go back to gather the money. But before I do, can I stay with you for a while? I just want to follow you. Wherever you go, I'll go," Su Yu'er said, clinging to Yi Feng's arm and shaking it.
Yi Feng refused again.

"Master, don't you like Celestial Crystals? I have a special ability—I can find treasures!" Su Yu'er quickly added. "I've found many treasures for my uncles and masters before, and those treasures contained lots and lots of Celestial Crystals."
As she spoke, her sharp nose twitched. She walked over to a spot not far away and dug into the ground with her hands. A moment later, she pulled out a Celestial Crystal from the soil.
"See, Master? I'm not lying," Su Yu'er said solemnly.
Looking at the Celestial Crystal in Su Yu'er's hand, Yi Feng subtly raised his head.
"As a righteous cultivator, it is my duty to do good deeds and accumulate virtue. Leaving a woman like you alone in such darkness would be a grave mistake."
