I Arrived At Wizard World While Cultivating Immortality Chapter 90

**Chapter 90: Entry**

The magistrate looked with satisfaction at the apprentices’ reactions, fully aware that this reward was enough to ignite their full potential and ambition.

To be honest, even a wizard like him felt a fleeting thrill upon hearing about the reward.

After all, in Noren Workshop, not every seventh-tier wizard could oversee a Noren Academy.

“Enough!” the magistrate’s voice suddenly rose, cutting through everyone’s fantasies. “Briefing concluded! All apprentices, proceed to your designated areas based on your academy and group numbers! Prepare to enter Elosia. May your journey be victorious!”

The teleportation array flared to life again. This time, the apprentices’ eyes burned not only with tension and excitement but with a hunger for boundless treasures.

“The efficiency of wizards’ operations is surprisingly high,” Jie Ming couldn’t help but remark as he watched the apprentices, fully prepared and ready to move after the command was given.

This showcased why wizards were so suited for plane wars.

By normal logic, after crossing multiple planes to arrive here, one would expect a few days of rest and acclimatization before proceeding with the test.

Since the teleportation array negated the fatigue of long-distance travel, they could dive straight into action upon arrival, unburdened by morale issues.

Moreover, every wizard was a highly trained talent who had studied for years, ensuring none were fools.

Before heading to their destination, they would already have studied local intelligence.

With clear objectives, each could fulfill their role.

Though their “excessive intelligence” made wizards less adept at group combat, their immense strength more than compensated for this flaw.

As Jie Ming marveled, tens of thousands of apprentices were enveloped by a special energy, instantly vanishing from Noren Workshop’s headquarters plaza.

This cross-plane teleportation was unlike any previous experience.

If past academy teleports were like riding a smooth airship gliding through a void tunnel, this was like being stuffed into a sealed sphere and hurled into a raging torrent.

The surrounding spatial barriers churned like mud, the intense pressure suffocating.

A grating friction filled their ears, their vision blurred with chaotic light and shadow.

Their bodies jolted with violent tremors, as if struck by a colossal force or tearing through countless invisible barriers.

This brutal “intrusion” left many apprentices pale, some even vomiting uncontrollably.

Jie Ming steadied his mind, his powerful mental force forming an iron wall to resist the chaotic spatial turbulence.

Taking a deep breath, his true essence circulated within, suppressing the discomfort.

Suddenly, a powerful force flung him out of the turbulent space, like a marble shot from a slingshot.

His body plummeted uncontrollably, the howling wind and scattered cries echoing around him.

As he fell, Jie Ming looked up, his gaze piercing the chaotic airflow, his pupils contracting sharply…

Above the torn sky, a dozen massive, sky-obscuring shadows clashed.

They varied in form—some radiated ancient, verdant natural energy, others glowed with majestic golden light, and some blazed with scorching flames.

Undoubtedly, given their immense power, these were the divine projections of Elosia’s gods, each emanating suffocating divine might.

Opposing them was an equally massive but blurry wizard shadow.

Surrounded by intricate runes, its every gesture triggered spatial tremors, ripping apart swathes of divine power.

This was a clash beyond the fifth-tier wizard and god level!

“I see…” Jie Ming understood instantly.

They hadn’t been “teleported” in—they had been forcibly thrust into Elosia by the wizard civilization tearing through the plane’s barrier!

This plane wasn’t fully under wizard control, its barriers sealed by the native gods’ divine power, requiring their permission for entry.

To send the apprentice force in, the wizards had to rip open a temporary passage with overwhelming power.

Elosia’s gods, the guardians of this passage, naturally wouldn’t let them succeed easily.

Thus, in the brief moment of crossing the spatial barrier, a terrifying battle had erupted in the outer void.

Jie Ming’s keen gaze captured the battlefield’s shifts:

Under the ferocious assault of the dozen divine shadows, the wizard’s shadow seemed to reach its limit.

It let out a piercing, anguished howl filled with desperate struggle, as if despairing at the gods’ imminent victory.

Then, the wizard’s shadow dimmed rapidly, dissolving into countless specks of light that vanished in the air.

The divine shadows roared in triumphant joy, their massive forms fading, seemingly satisfied with the wizard’s “fall,” believing the passage was sealed.

Hovering in midair, Jie Ming’s body glowed faintly as he used Alchemy Technique to manipulate the air beneath him, slowing his descent.

The thickened air reduced his speed drastically, and he soon drifted down like a feather, landing silently on his toes.

He looked toward where the wizard’s shadow had vanished, the corner of his mouth twitching. “That ‘dying’ howl was too deliberate, the acting too obvious. Terrible performance—unqualified! Go back and practice!”

Indeed, he saw through it instantly: the wizard was faking death.

The reason was simple: wizards couldn’t reveal too much strength.

If the wizard civilization displayed overwhelming dominance over the plane’s gods, the intense pressure might drive the native deities to desperation, potentially destroying the entire plane in a mutual annihilation, triggering an irreversible self-destruct ritual.

That would render the wizards’ plans for resources and strategic expansion futile.

Thus, in this standoff, wizards had to tread carefully.

Occasionally, powerful high-tier wizards had to play the role of “fallen victims,” sacrificing themselves to bolster the confidence of Elosia’s gods.

This convinced them that while the wizard civilization was strong, it wasn’t invincible, maintaining the “stalemate” rather than a “mutual destruction.”

It was a silent psychological war to ensure the plane’s integrity.
