Lis caught a glimpse of the name "Demogorgon" following Lukar's in the system panel, and immediately felt a chill run from his feet to his head.
He had contemplated which big shot could be the mastermind behind the scenes, but he hadn't truly considered it might be this entity.
Or rather, he dared not think it was really this entity.
As a Son of Demon and one of the strongest Abyss Lords, Demogorgon found it exceedingly difficult to enter the Gaia World, let alone descend an avatar like the gods.
However, Lukar's current state was undoubtedly possessed by Demogorgon, yet he was able to display formidable strength, enough to bring about the demise of the "Northern Fury".
Lis couldn't figure out how he accomplished this.
But one thing Lis could be sure of was that it must have taken Demogorgon a tremendous amount of energy and strength to do all this. Could his goal be merely the Dillon Kingdom?
Demogorgon had been quiet for endless years, not showing off his presence like other Demon Lords; no one knew what he was up to.
But Lis knew, because in the not too distant future Demogorgon would make his move.
The Main God of the Elf God System "Elf Creator, Guardian, and Ruler" Correlon Larysian had fallen!
Abyss Power invaded one of the core elements of the Gaia World, the "World Tree Yggdrasil"!
Lis didn't think that what Demogorgon was doing now was meaningless.
Thus, everything happening in the Dillon Kingdom might just be one of Demogorgon's future arrangements!
This matter was too big, so big that Lis couldn't bear it!
So big that Lis didn't even dare mention it to anyone!
After all, Lis didn't believe revealing what Demogorgon intended to do in the future would change the fate of that mighty Divine Power's demise.
A joke! As one of the strongest from the Abyss, with strength on par with mighty Divine Powers, Demogorgon had planned for countless eons. How could Lis possibly stop him that easily?
Instead, it would draw this entity's attention.
With his strength, even crossing world barriers at a significant loss of power, squashing Lis, a silver little ant, would be effortless.
If the sky were to fall, let the tall ones hold it up!
Better to tell Mr. Judgement Flame, the teacher, about what happened in Ice Peak City. If Demogorgon's conspiracy were to be discovered in the end, it wouldn't have anything to do with him.
In the blink of an eye, Lis had sorted through all this and quickly took out the communication crystal ball Mr. Stephens had given him from his storage ring.
Teacher, save me, save me!
Lis, while dodging the blood light falling from the sky, began channeling Magic Power into the crystal ball.
"Hello, hello, is the teacher there?"
After a short wait, Stephens' familiar voice came from the crystal ball.
"Haha, Little Lis, have you run into trouble? Haven't entered that relic yet?"
Well, the signal was good, and the response was prompt. It was just that the teacher seemed to be stuck in the last version.
Before Lis could speak, Stephens continued with a hint of laughter in his voice:
"Do you need my help? Then you'll be out of one chance to call for help, won't you?"
Lis dodged the blood light in a fluster and said non-stop:
"Teacher, I've already obtained the inheritance from the relic! But that's not what I want to talk about this time."
"I'm now in Dillon Kingdom's Ice Peak City, and something big has happened!"
"Three Demon's Gates have been opened in the city, and many demons have poured out from them."
"The legend of the Dillon Kingdom 'Northern Fury' has fallen, and the culprit is the King of the Dillon Kingdom, Lukar Dilon."
"Lukar's condition is very strange, as if his body has been taken over by an Abyss Lord."
"The Demon's Gate leads to the 88th layer of the Abyss, the 'Saltwater Swamp'. I suspect that the one possessing Lukar's body is the Demon Prince, Demogorgon!"
Lis rattled off the situation at hand to his teacher, selectively omitting the information obtained from the system panel, presenting it instead as his own guess.
Even so, the fall of a legend and the appearance of an Abyss Lord were sure to interest the teacher.
But just as Lis found out that the previously vocal crystal ball was now silent without any sign of life, he shook it tentatively.
"Damn it, is there no signal now?"
Lis grumbled about the poor quality of the magic item.
At that moment, the space behind him suddenly began to warp, like ripples on the surface of water.
A young man dressed in a black Magic Robe stepped out from the twisted space and stood in front of Lis.
Legendary Arcanist "Judgement Flame" Fran Stephens!
Upon Stephens' appearance, he frowned up at the blood light falling from the sky and waved his hand.
A dome-shaped protection spell that radiated a light white hue appeared above Lis and himself.
The once overpowering blood light hit the shield and was reduced to tiny fragments of light that scattered away.
Finally able to catch his breath, Lis stopped and saluted his teacher.
One moment he was on the call, and the next, the man had flown over!
Teacher, your forte is surely Space Magic, right!
Stephens looked up at Lukar in the sky, who was now only a torso, and spoke with a measure of gravity:
"This is the one? Possibly Demogorgon's Abyss Lord?"
Lis nodded seriously, without any hesitation.
Anyone could see the pure and evil Abyss Breath emanating from Lukar.
At the very least, it was certain that this person was no longer human!
