this was a desolate stone wasteland shrouded in thick, grey clouds, utterly devoid of green vegetation and signs of life.
The deafening sounds of explosions and roars echoed; the entire wasteland trembled incessantly, the site of an extremely fierce battle unfolding within this space.

Stephens held the Legendary Wand [Gaia's Fury] in his hand, calmly floating mid-air, leisurely as if he were merely on an outing here.
Fiery red, deep blue, brownish-yellow, pale cyan—four pure colors whirled around his body, and numerous intricate and complex Magic Arrays, made of profound symbols and patterns, guided and controlled massive amounts of Magic Elements to form a Solid Magic Shield covering the entire sky.
Beneath those multicolored Magic Shields was a fearsome gigantic beast, enveloped in scarlet blood mist, tirelessly pounding against the shields above its head.
This fierce beast had a bizarre appearance, with parts from different ferocious animals—such as a tiger's head, bear's body, dragon's wings—brazenly displaying the dreadful strength of a Legendary Strongman.
Not far behind this colossal creature, on the ground was an eerie fog, a mix of dark green and pale white, hovering around the [mourning bird]. This Legendary Plague Mage clutched his bone Magic Wand, as an enormous Undead roared and charged at Stephens in the sky.
Soon, though, this terrifyingly powerful Undead was dismembered into pieces by Stephens's meteoric Shape Changing Magic Spells.

"Damn it, how can he be so strong?"
[Thirsty Blood Beast] Elvin muttered in disbelief and frustration.
The seemingly frail Shield in front of him remained unshakable no matter how much he battered it.
"Of course, do you think I would agree to join forces with you if it were so easy?"
[mourning bird] Garcia spoke calmly, without a trace of emotion in his tone.
Elvin suppressed the fury in his heart and continued to collaborate with Garcia in launching assaults on Stephens.
