The lush forest was like a green ocean, the trees here not the usual ones found in the Elf Forest.
Lis simply took a look and immediately realized it.
All around him were rare Elf Ancient Trees!
Each of these ancient trees possessed powerful magic power and ancient wisdom!
Lis could see some elves gracefully moving through the forest, diligently tending to each ancient tree.
Above in the tree canopies, small fairies born of pure life force and magic power were frolicking and playing.
These small fairies were petite, with wings clear as cicada wings, twinkling like fairy sprites playing hide-and-seek among the leaves.
Such little elves only appeared in places with the most concentrated life force, embodying the purest forces of nature.
Soon, Lis also recognized the names of those Elf Ancient Trees.
Those trees with leaves as tough as steel and canopies resembling warriors' helmets were the most powerful Ancient War Trees, touted as the impregnable guardians of the forest, their stout trunks marked by the traces of time, recounting past grandeur and glory, exuding a formidable dignity and strength.
The nearby Wisdom Ancient Trees appeared even more mysterious and profound, their trunks twisted and artistic, each leaf resembling a book of wisdom, playing a light and pleasant song in the breeze.
Besides these, there were Life Ancient Trees surrounded by ribbons of pure life force, Ancient Wind Trees where limpid green breezes and blue lightning gathered, and other ancient trees.
Indeed, Elf Ancient Trees might be quite rare in the Human Kingdom but are not uncommon within the Elf Kingdom.
Not to mention an Elf City, even an Elf Village inhabiting only a few hundred elves might have an Elf Ancient Tree.
But for an Elf Royal Court to have Ancient Trees encompassing the city and forming a vast forest, Lis had never seen anything like it.
Not even Jade City could compare, and even in the Elf Capital Andor City, there were not so many Elf Ancient Trees.
You see, despite their peaceful and tranquil appearance, these ancient trees are all utterly formidable machines of war.
