Causing Trouble
Irritated, Lian Jing drove back to the villa. As soon as he entered, he received a call from Yun Shan.
On the other end of the line, Yun Shan was sitting in the hospital, crying. She looked at her cut cheek in the mirror and complained pitifully, “President Lian, someone bullied me. My face is scratched. How can I join the production team tomorrow?”
“Go find the makeup artist,” Lian Jing chided her impatiently. “You don’t have to tell me about such small matters.”

An hour later, a dazzling Maserati pulled up in front of the National Phoenix Hotel.
The driver got out calmly, opened the rear door, and stood respectfully to the side. “President Lian, we’re here.”
Lian Jing’s face was cold as the manager personally welcomed him to the private room on the fifth floor.
When Yun Shan saw him arrive, she shyly took his arm and affectionately pulled him over to sit beside her. “Brother Lian, the director specially asked me to come and eat with you.”
