278 A Kiss On A Swing
“Really?” Shen Yin stared at him suspiciously.
She did not know how to assess these antiques, but since Lian Jing had said so, there was no need for her to find fault.
However, Shen Yin felt uncomfortable when she thought about the surveillance cameras that were installed everywhere for the sake of security. She punched his shoulder and say, “Who wants to live with so many surveillance cameras? Hurry up and get rid of all these things.”
“Don’t worry.” Lian Jing leaned close to her ear and blew. “There are no cameras in the bedroom.”
Shen Yin was furious. She pushed him away and glared at him. “Can you be more serious? I haven’t eaten yet. I’m hungry.”

I’ll bring you to the dining room to take a look.” Lian Jing put his arm around her shoulders and brought her into another small courtyard that was specially used as a dining area. The interior was decorated in the same style. It was quite old-fashioned, but there were all the usual appliances.
The servant smiled as they entered. She quickly brought two cups of hot tea and said warmly, “President Lian, Miss Shen, this is freshly brewed tea. Drink it to warm your stomachs. You can start eating soon.”
Shen Yin sniffed. An alluring fragrance wafted around the dining room, and her stomach immediately growled.
Lian Jing laughed at her for being silly. After she finished the hot tea, he got someone to serve the dishes that he had ordered earlier.
There were only two of them, but Lian Jing had ordered more than ten dishes. Every dish suited Shen Yin’s taste. He was sure that she would definitely like them.
Shen Yin had worked overtime for a while that night. She was hungry after examining the house for so long. Her eyes lit up when she saw the delicious food. She wanted to try every dish.
She picked up a piece of soft stewed meat with her chopsticks and placed it in Lian Jing’s bowl. She smiled and said, “It’s too wasteful for the two of us to have so many dishes. Why don’t we let the people working here eat with us?”
Lian Jing glanced at her and did not say anything. His cold gaze swept across the nannies who standing there, ready to wait on her. They were so frightened that their hair stood on end. They hurriedly waved their hands and tactfully rejected her. “Miss Shen, you’re too polite. We’ll eat after you finish eating.”
“That won’t do. If you eat after we’ve eaten, that will just be leftovers.” Shen Yin frowned disapprovingly and turned to look at Lian Jing. “Then if you don’t want them to sit down and eat together, let them take some away. We can’t finish so much.”
This time, Lian Jing reluctantly agreed.
It was not that he could not lower himself to eat with others. It was just that he did not like to eat things that others had touched with chopsticks. After the meal, Shen Yin held Lian Jing’s hand in satisfaction as they went to the courtyard to digest their food. She walked to a swing and looked at the man beside her in surprise. She smiled and said, “You’ve even repaired this swing.”

“Okay!” Shen Yin nodded and agreed. Then, she sat on the swing that she used to sit on when she was young and let the shadow sway back and forth on the ground. When it reached the highest point, the shadow’s owner suddenly screamed in fear. Then, the shadow fell into a warm and broad embrace.
The next day in office, Shen Yin was still in a daze and giggling from time to time. Recalling the wet and hot kiss on the swing last night, a trace of joy suddenly appeared on her fair and tender face.
