62 Winning Over
Shen Yin was keeping Shen Nian company as he opened the gifts when there was a commotion outside the door.
She quickly stood up, looking a little uneasy.
“Morning, Yin Yin. Nian Nian, do you like these gifts?” Old Master Lian had just returned from a hike up the mountain. He casually took a towel from the butler and wiped his sweat. After freshening up, he sat on the sofa and opened his arms towards Shen Nian.
Shen Nian leaned over obediently and nodded, saying that he liked them very much.
The Old Master beamed with joy and instructed the servants to serve the breakfast they had prepared earlier.
“Grandpa, why didn’t you eat in the morning before going hiking?” Shen Yin looked at the time. It was already ten o’clock in the morning. Old Master was already in poor health. If he tired himself out, it would probably worsen his health.
“I wanted to wait for you to eat together, so I went out first. Anyway, I wasn’t hungry.” The Old Master saw the guilt in Shen Yin’s eyes and hurriedly patted her back with a smile. “It’s nothing. I’m in good health. You don’t have to worry. It’s normal for young people to need more sleep.”

Oh, and if you want to go out later, just go straight to the garage to pick a car. Drive whichever one you like.”
He glanced at the butler, who immediately understood. He handed Shen Yin a bunch of keys. “Miss Shen, these are all the keys in the house. They’ve already been marked for you. It’ll be much more convenient for you in the future.”
“Grandpa, I don’t need this.” Shen Yin did not dare to accept them. She was just temporarily staying here with Shen Nian. If she accepted the keys, it would not be easy for her to leave in the future.
Besides, she and Lian Jing were not married. What right did she have to these keys?
“Just take them. Both Lian Jing and I want you to have them. You gave birth to an heir for our Lian family. Do you have to stand on ceremony with us over such a small matter?”
Old Master knew what Shen Yin was thinking and wanted to dispel her worries.
Lian Jing’s intention was to take the long view, but the Old Master felt that the Lian Family should project the right attitude. They must not let Shen Yin feel that she was an outsider in this family.
Seeing that the Old Master was insistent, Shen Yin could not refuse anymore. She was forced to reluctantly accept the keys, thinking that she would return them when she left.
They had an enjoyable meal. Lian Jing’s birthday was in two days. Shen Yin thought that since she was on leave today, she would buy a birthday present for Lian Jing in advance.

This gave Shen Yin a terrible headache, so she called Li Zi and asked her to go to the mall with her to give her some ideas.
Li Zi was feeling bored at home. She agreed readily and the two of them arranged to meet at the mall.

When she entered and saw the rows of luxury cars, Shen Yin realized that Lian Jing was actually very low-key. The Maserati was actually one of the cheapest cars here.
