Ye Xiu had been with Bai Da for more than just a year or two. She could tell from the way his hands moved that he was very nervous.
"Do you really not know? Bai Da, can I never trust you again?"
Ye Xiu was somewhat disappointed. She hadn’t thought that, while feeling cold about Bai Da’s actions, disappointment could still surprise her.
What did disappointment imply?

Bai Da’s grip involuntarily tightened, causing Ye Xiu to frown in pain.
Ye Xiu’s words made Bai Da quickly loosen his grip and he immediately looked at Ye Xiu with pained eyes.
"Xiuxiu, does it hurt? I’m sorry, I’m sorry, it’s my fault. Hit me, please hit me?"
As he spoke, Bai Da took Ye Xiu’s hand and hit his own face with it.
Ye Xiu yanked her hand back,
"What are you doing? Can’t we have a proper conversation? I’m seriously talking to you. If you keep this attitude, we can’t continue this conversation."
Ye Xiu turned to leave, but Bai Da grabbed her hand immediately, his eyes already unfocused.
"Let me go, or I will leave."
Ye Xiu realized something was wrong with Bai Da and spoke up immediately. The Bai Da of the past would definitely not treat her , even slightly discomforting her.
"Xiuxiu, I’m sorry, I’m really sorry."
Bai Da quickly let go of Ye Xiu, and Bai Zhi walked over, positioning herself in front of Ye Xiu.
