The Demon King laughed, "Because I often consume it."
"Impossible." The Empress Dowager immediately denied it. "You are my son; how could I possibly give this to you?"
But the Demon King refused to believe it, absolutely refused.
"In this palace, though I am called the Demon King, the real rulers are you, mother. I don’t mind who is in charge. But you shouldn’t have dragged Li Mu and his mother into this; how do you expect me to tolerate it?"
The Demon King’s gaze grew dark, glaring fiercely at Bai Wei, as if he wanted to devour her.
