With a beat of his wings, his massive form suddenly dove toward Dawn Plaza, then soared back up amid cries of alarm, kicking up a sweeping gust of wind.
“The great Lord Witherbone is the invincible bone dragon! Citizens of Dawn City, raise your voices and praise the greatness of Lord Witherbone!
Those who praise me shall receive Lord Witherbone’s protection.
Shout my name at the top of your lungs!”
Li De had just arrived at the plaza when he heard this and couldn’t help but freeze.
That damn undead, he had only just returned and already stirred up such a commotion.
Just as the crowd below was really about to chant Witherbone’s name, Li De’s cold voice made the twenty-blade wingspan, all-bone body, Level 18 undead with ghostly blue Soul Fire flickering in his skull tremble from head to toe.
“Witherbone, get down.”
Then, under the stunned gaze of all the residents, the terrifying dragon that had just been soaring and showing off suddenly dove toward the ground and landed, taking a few steps forward on his sharp-clawed limbs and then obediently lowering his head before Li De.
Like a kitten, he performed an action completely at odds with the mighty bone dragon image.
“Oh great Master, your most humble servant Witherbone welcomes your arrival.”
The surrounding residents all froze slightly upon witnessing this, then one by one looked feverishly at the figure who could make a bone dragon submit, Lord of Dawn, the mighty Lord Kachar!
They all bowed in unison.
“Good day, great Lord Kachar!”
“Good day, Your Majesty!”

Li De swept his gaze across the crowd. Except for a few newcomers, every resident was paying their respects.
He smiled slightly. For a dark big boss to be so admired and respected by a crowd of ordinary humans, it all had a surreal, magical feel.
“Rise, my people.” Li De’s high-spirited voice echoed above Dawn Plaza. The old residents looked full of anticipation, and the new ones were hearing the city lord’s speech for the first time.
“The saintlight vampires are out there fighting for Dawn City, bleeding and battling for each and every one of you.
You should feel both grateful and honored, because you are citizens of Dawn City, my citizens. That is why you are able to receive all of this.”
Li De’s tone shifted slightly, softening.
“This Month of Deep Winter, many things will happen in Dawn City. We will welcome back more displaced commoners who have lost their homes due to the war. They, like you, are victims of the beastmen.
Dawn City has the ability to lead more residents toward better lives.”
As he reached the end, he paused briefly, his eyes blazing as he swept his gaze across the crowd before delivering his closing statement.
“I hope you can help them integrate into Dawn City as soon as possible.
I entrust this to you, my people. In the name of the Lord of Dawn, Patriarch of the saintlight vampires, I thank every citizen of Dawn City.”
After speaking, Li De bowed deeply to the crowd.
Then, Ding Ding Ding~
If Li De had looked at his attribute panel at that moment, he would have seen that this single action had increased his casual believers by over five hundred, and added more than a hundred new believers and devout believers.

Whooosh~ A fierce wind kicked up.
The surrounding crowd could no longer stay on their feet.
The awe-inspiring and overbearing bone dragon took to the sky, but even more eye-catching was the figure standing atop its skull, the one who had made this terrifying bone dragon submit.
The great Lord Kachar.
Under everyone's gaze, his black mage robe fluttered in the wind, his handsome face and deep eyes brimming with indescribable charisma.
Wings spread, they flew.
Just like that, the bone dragon left Dawn City.
As Li De departed, instead of calming down, the crowd grew even more excited, engaging in animated discussion.

A sonic boom tore through the air behind them, a misty white vapor burst around them, and in the blink of an eye, he disappeared from Witherbone’s sight.
Witherbone stared blankly at the scene for a long while, stunned.
Did I just hallucinate??
When he snapped out of it, he started flapping his wings madly to catch up. He was a Level 18 bone dragon, dammit! How could he be left in the dust by a Level 15 bat??
But no matter how hard he flapped, he still couldn’t catch up to the rapidly vanishing silhouette. In the end, Witherbone fumed several times in frustration.
Unacceptable! The great Lord Witherbone was actually bullied by a Level 15 bat!!!
