I Became The Vampire Progenitor Chapter 472

“When producing Tier 1 alchemical bombs, also begin development of Tier 2 and Tier 3 alchemical bombs, especially the Tier 2 ones. You must eliminate the critical flaw of instability.”

Li De gave Mohr no time to rest, issuing another command right away.

“Also, these alchemical bombs will ultimately be mounted on Whispering Bats. You've seen the Whispering Bats, I need a kind of armor that can carry alchemical bombs.

This project will be a joint effort between you and the dwarves.”

Although the alchemical bombs had been successfully manufactured, the formation of an air force was still far from complete.

The first issue was, how would the Whispering Bats carry these alchemical bombs?

This was the core and most crucial problem.

They couldn’t just throw a dozen bombs in a basket and have someone toss them off the back, could they?

That would be a complete joke.

If they encountered enemy aerial units, that would be suicide.

So they absolutely had to develop a piece of equipment that could both carry alchemical bombs and allow the Whispering Bats to fly unimpeded.

And this would require collaboration between goblins and dwarves.

“Yes, Majestic. We will do our utmost to cooperate with the dwarves.”

Mohr didn’t hesitate. The clever old goblin understood Li De’s plan and dared not fall behind at such a time.

“Harrison, record this matter as a top priority. Also, give me all the data on the Whispering Bats, and coordinate with Mohr to compile the alchemical bomb data, I need to go into seclusion.”

Behind him, Harrison nodded in response.

Two sun-hours later, after receiving the data he needed, Li De immediately announced a short period of seclusion, then returned to his manor and traveled back to Earth.

Li De opened his eyes, the snow-white ceiling of his room making him a little dizzy.

He picked up his phone and glanced at several missed calls, shaking his head helplessly.

Both worlds had pressing matters for him to handle, he couldn’t be in two places at once.

“President Li, aren’t you a bit too laid back? How long has it been since you’ve shown up at Crimson Moon?”

Zhao Yue couldn’t help but complain as soon as she picked up Li De’s call.

Now she truly understood, Li De didn’t care much about Crimson Moon at all.

He always came and went in a rush, usually just issuing a few tasks, and the rest of the time he completely ignored Crimson Moon.

This made her, the Vice President, feel both delighted and frustrated. Delighted because she held real power and could develop Crimson Moon according to her vision.

Frustrated because she was so invested while the company’s owner didn’t care at all, leaving her with a sense of defeat.

If it weren’t for the generous salary Li De paid, she seriously doubted whether she’d be this motivated.

This is your company, boss!!

"Don't you have President Zhao in the company? What's wrong? What do you want to talk to me about this time?"

“Didn’t you ask me last time to help find an assistant?”

Li De nodded in realization. “Ah, right. Have you found someone suitable?”

“Yes. A friend of mine has a daughter, an outstanding graduate from Capital University. She majored in Human Resource Management. She’s highly competent and has a proactive, serious work attitude.”

“Great. I’ll head over to the club now. I have a new task for you as well.”

Li De didn’t drag his feet. After hanging up, he took out a notebook, sketched a few diagrams with a pen, then took a shower, changed clothes, and took a taxi to what used to be the Sword and Shield Club, now Crimson Moon.

Wearing a black, form-fitting business outfit and high heels, with the ripeness of a perfectly ripe peach, Zhao Yue was already waiting at the door.

Next to her stood a girl of average build with a chubby, round face.

Li De saw them as soon as he got out of the car, a habitual smile curling his lips. He nodded and greeted Zhao Yue.

“Good afternoon, President Zhao.”

Out of the corner of his eye, he glanced at the girl beside Zhao Yue. She had a scholarly air, an average figure, and looks that were slightly above average, but nowhere near comparable to his little maid.

That must be the assistant Zhao Yue had found.

Li De felt strangely conflicted. There’s that saying: when there’s work, let the secretary do it, and when there isn’t... The most update n0vels are published on n͟o͟v͟e͟l͟f͟i͟r͟e͟.net

Well, that was clearly not happening here. Guess I really am a decent man after all.

“Good afternoon, President Li,” Zhao Yue replied. She couldn’t help but be amazed at the handsome, elegant figure before her, his noble aura was like that of a royal heir raised in centuries of aristocratic tradition.

She had seen Li De countless times, yet every time his noble bearing left her in awe.

Just what major financial group or great clan raised this man? His aura was flawless.

The girl beside Zhao Yue also greeted Li De politely.

“Hello, President Li. My name is Cheng Lu. I’m here to apply for the assistant position.”

Li De gave a small nod. “Good. Let’s talk inside.”

The three entered Li De’s office. Though its owner was rarely present, the place remained spotless and well-kept.

They took their seats and brewed tea.

Looking at Li De lounging casually on the sofa across from her, Zhao Yue couldn’t help but want to complain again.

“President Li, don’t you think you should make some time to actually manage the company?”

Li De glanced at the mature and ripe Vice President and smiled faintly. “Isn’t this arrangement perfect? I’ve handed all the power over to you. Crimson Moon can be built according to your vision.”

Zhao Yue replied with a bit of irritation, “You’ve already decided the direction, what’s left for me to build?”

Although Li De wasn’t personally running things, he had long since laid out the development path for Crimson Moon.

So even though Zhao Yue was managing the company, she had no choice but to follow the direction Li De had set. There was no way to break free of it, everything was still under his control.
