“Mumu—” he called out in a low, husky voice and then reached out to wrap his arms around the young girl’s slender waist, murmuring, “It hurts, let me hold you for a while, just a while—”
Hearing his restrained and enduring voice, Mu Lingyun felt more heartache and wrapped her arms around his head, asking, “Does it hurt a lot? Why won’t you go to the hospital?”
“No going…” He did not state the reason, just stubbornly refused.

“Alright, then we won’t go. Give me your hand, let me have a look,” she said, grabbing his right hand.
