So she thought of giving him these promises this way, not only there is incentive for him to beat her but also this ties him to her family.
After all, her family appreciates the strongest, talented individuals. If he can beat her then he proved himself and so it's good for her family to have him beside them.

Tess after giving him the 5 promises couldn't help but glee in her mind as she thought of how proud her mother would be if she knew about this?

Max on the other hand realised his previous hypothesis was not completely right, this woman is just slow.

Even though she was prepared, he still appeared as just a blur to her making her battle spirit even more excited.

And so she go all out without caring about hurting him, throwing barrage of fist at him.

Max here kept dodging each and every one of them with uninterested, almost bored expressions, That's because he was.

Max couldn't help but yawn as he saw her moves, He saw millions of flaws in it even with his cursory glance from the glimpse he saw.
