While one person studied him closely from a distant part of the Colony City of Neon.
Beyond the tall fortress walls, past buildings that were illuminated with vibrant purple, blue, and neon lights…
Beyond the towering skyscrapers surrounded by humming aerial vessels and drones that filled the atmosphere with a somber hum.
In the very skies above the Colony City of Neon, there stood the Fort Cape of Hope.
It was here that Luna had led Achilles and Rose into their new lodgings.
Three lesser versions of Andromeda Sentinels had already prepared a lavish feast in the living room, an opulent space surrounded by walls made of clear purple-gold glass.
Past the living room, an expansive suite awaited them, complete with state-of-the-art facilities and a bedroom concealed behind layers of blast-reinforced walls.
"If King Primal and Miss Rose need me for anything else tonight," Luna said softly, her tone respectful, "please don't hesitate to call. I'll take care of everything we discussed and ensure we're ready to move first thing tomorrow morning."
She crossed her arms over her chest, giving another King's Respect before turning to leave.
As much as she wanted to remain, Luna understood social constructs well enough to know not to overstay her welcome.
Even if this place had once been her own home before today!
As Luna left, Achilles turned toward Rose.
She was gazing at the feast laid out before them- plates filled with vibrant, golden-glazed meats, vegetables that even the pickiest of eaters would be tempted to try, and jugs of drinks radiating with the pulsating light of Evolutius Energy.
Food meant for higher beings.
Achilles laughed lightly as he spoke.
"Go ahead and get started. I just need to check on a few things…"
Knowing her, he was certain she wouldn't hesitate.
"Okay, Little Fatty!"
Without a second thought, her legs shimmered with verdant flames as she shot toward the table, a gluttonous queen ready to devour the feast before her.
Achilles shook his head with a smile, another thing he loved about her.
Between the two of them, just who was the fatty?
But since he did not want to die, he didn't even entertain saying this out loud!
Floating past the blast doors, he entered a wide chamber on the top floor of the Overseer's Observatory.
At the center of the room was a massive bed, with doors along the walls leading to closets that held powerful Evolutius Armaments and weapons, along with Evolutius Storage Boxes and other treasures.
Achilles ignored all of it.
He sat on the bed and closed his eyes, looking deep within himself.
Within him, flaming seas surged.
Each sea shone more brilliantly than the last, representing his assimilations. After his recent advancements in complexity, the Adrastia Emperor King Lineage within him had unlocked two astonishing capabilities:
Limited Assimilation and Combination.
A wondrous capability that allowed him to merge different assimilations.
When he closed his eyes and focused on this power, the image that emerged in his mind was that of two flaming seas within his existence being drawn toward one another.
The possibilities were limitless.
He didn't yet know where this ability would lead, but the only outcome could be something far more powerful.
As he examined the identities of the many flaming seas within him, Achilles decided to conduct his first experiment.
"How about… a combination of Sunlight and Non-Luminous Moonlight?"
He spoke the words half-heartedly, but what followed was a spectacle of wonder.
Deep within the depths of his existence…
The vibrant seas of Sunlight and Lunar Light began to stir.
Silver and gold energies converged seamlessly, drawn toward each other with no hesitation or resistance.
They did not resist and they could not resist.
The very blood coursing through his veins made every flaming sea within him docile and incapable of denying his will!
If he wished for two flaming seas to combine, they would combine!
No matter how compatible or incompatible they were.
The result would be something only he would come to understand.
On the bed, Achilles' body flickered with a radiant glow- silver and gold brilliance undulating around him with tremendous power.
His eyes remained closed as he sensed the changes within.
In a matter of minutes…
The golden and silver flaming seas converged, collapsing into a single point of convergence. A moment later, they exploded into a dense, incandescent sea- shining with a powerful silver-gold radiance!
At times, it flickered more silver.
Other times, it shimmered more gold.
Yet, despite the shifting hues, it was a seamless combination- a perfect union of two powers!
And then…a series of words flashed before his eyes.
[Luminous and Non-Luminous Stellar Body Echelon 3 has been produced from the combination of two different Assimilations.]
The words shone like booming judgments, appearing on the panel that only Achilles could see.
The names of Sunlight and Non-Luminous Moonlight faded away.
Both were replaced by a radiant addition of a combined assimilation!
And the flaming sea of this new assimilation…
It was three times vaster than both Sunlight and Lunar Light combined.
Its density was overwhelming.
Achilles could feel it- an unyielding surge of power and complexity coursing through his existence.
Above his head where an illusory star once hovered, a second illusory star began to form.
Tinged with a silver-gold allure, it radiated grandiose waves of power!
As this phenomenon unfolded, more information flooded his mind.

Through this combination, something far more powerful had been born, and yet, Achilles noted with wonder that the speed of progression for this new assimilation had actually increased!
