Around the blood pond, different metal ores that were high as mountains were placed around it. These were all high quality ores used to forge powerful weapons, armour and other types of items. The same thing was done for the termites, large quantities of metal ores placed around them and all kinds of beast cores. Compared to these 6things, the termites in their blood cocoons were very small and insignificant. Nothing was placed around the bees.
